"Ms. Chase?" Doctor Harry waved his hand across my face, staring at me with concern eyes.

"Yes?" I snapped back into reality.

"Are you alright?"

I nodded my head. "Why do you ask?"

"You're crying." I twisted my face in confusion looking at him as I touched my face. He was right I was crying but I didn't know why. I sniffed wiping my face.

"I'm fine. What is it you need?"

"The surgery was a success. Rose will be sleep for some time and the recovery process will take weeks. Once she wakes up, we can go over the symptoms she may have." He smiled walking away.

It was a damn dream but everything felt so real. That's probably why I was crying. I thanked God she's was going to be okay. I went back into my room feeling happiness and slight pain in my body. Dave slept in the bed with Konani on his chest. They looked so peaceful but I didn't want her rolling off him so I tried grabbing her. Dave's eyes popped open as he grabbed my hand staring at me.

"You can't be doing that." He said.

I laughed lightly. "I'm sorry, but I didn't want her falling off the bed."

"She wasn't going nowhere, I had her."

"I'm sorry, go back to sleep."

"Nah, I'm up now." He got up stretching. "You good? How is Rose?"

"From what the doctor told me she is good. I don't know how she's going to be mentally but I'm hoping for the best." I smiled looking down at Konani as she had a death grip on my pinky finger.

"That's good." He looked over at me. "We get to leave tomorrow. How are you feeling about that?"

"Sad." I pouted. "I don't want to leave my baby."

Konani has to stay in the hospital because she was having a hard time eating on her own and they wanted her to gain a little more weight. My heart was feeling a little crushed at the thought of her being alone here. But I guess it's good so we can go home and set up since we were not planned at all.

"Me either, that's my little princess." He smiled hovering over us. He placed a kiss on her forehead. She began moving around in her sleep. "Wake up, mamas."

I laughed. "No, leave her alone."

Next morning

"We have to take her to the nursery for her feeding." Nurse Christy informed. She was one of my favorite nurses so far since I've been here. She has overall been such a sweet person and helped so much.
