"You trying to hit the club tonight?" Profit yelled throughout the shop. I was finishing up with my last customer of the night.

"How long do I keep this on?" He asked pointing to his arm.

"Just keep this wrapped up for about 2 hours and then you can take it off." I told him.

"Thank you." We shook hands and I walked him to the front. The boys and Sky were sitting down talking.

"Alright, Dave I'm leaving now. Kamren is taking me on a date." Amber announced.

"Don't do anything Kardi wouldn't approve of." I reminded. She nodded swallowing hard grabbing her things and walking out the door.

"So you wanna go to the strip club or?" Mike asked.

I sighed. "Man, I don't know."

"Come on it's Saturday and you've been feeling down lately. So why not go out and have a couple of drinks?"

"I'll ask Kardi and let you know." Laughter broke out in the shop and most of them were shaking their head at me. "What?"

"Nigga, you gotta ask yo girl for permission?" Shooter questioned.

"It's not about asking. It's about respect nigga. She got my kids, so I wanna make sure they gone be good."

"I respect it. These niggas don't know because they ain't got girls and wanna do anything to please these niggas." Speed said.

"Alright, superstar."

"What you mad now? Because I made something out of myself and you didn't. Don't get mad at me because you can't rap."

"Nigga, what you say?" Shooter stood up.

"He said you trash nigga." Mike yelled making everybody laugh.

"Man y'all niggas whack." He stormed out. How he mad when he started talking shit first. I honestly don't even know why he comes around.

Speed looked at me. "That's your friend."

We talked for a little bit before I sent everyone home and locked up. Now I was at home chilling with the kids while Kardi cooked.

"Princess you wanna keep hitting me?" She was slapping my face and laughing at my pain. I looked around thinking this was the perfect time to ask Kardi. "You gone be good with the kids if I go out tonight?"

She nodded turning to look at me. "With who?"

"My only friends." I laughed. "Are you cool with that?"

"I was just asking. I'm fine with it Dave."

"You sure?"

"Yes, why is that so hard to believe?"
