Liam's POV

(Memory continued.)

TWO YEARS LATER

It's the day before auditions. For the X-Factor. Again. And this time, I'm going to make it. I know I'm going to. Vocal training for two years has gotten me to this point. I'm going to do it. I have all the people I need right here. I got this. I can't disappoint. Not again.

'Ding, ding.' My phone rang with a new text.

Lysia

-Broo! Sorry I won't be there with you at the auditions tomorrow, art school is killing me with these crazy schedules! But I know you'll do amazing! xx

I replied with a quick: Ha, it's all good, i kno ur busy and all that and u needa be rich and famous too! and thanks miss! text ya later! ;)

I had just put my phone to sleep when my phone 'dinged' with a new text message.

Unknown number:

-I know you won't answer, but good luck tomorrow. You'll be amazing as always. xx.

My thumbs moved slowly with a response.

-Who is this..?

I waited.. and waited. Nobody texted back. Odd. That's really creepy though. How did they know that my auditions were tomorrow? And how did they get my number!?

Shaking my head, I tried getting that creepy thought of a stranger having my number out of my head. I needed clear thoughts for my audition tomorrow. I got to ace it.

As I went down the quiet street to meet my friend for dinner, I kept on thinking about that text. For some reason it got me thinking about that one person I haven't thought of in a while. A person I'd never thought I would ever forget. But I knew it couldn't be her. I knew it couldn't be Emerson. Not her.

1 YEAR LATER

"And here's One Direction!!" The crowd burst into applause as we stepped onto the stage and took a seat on the couch. Ellen gave us a warm smile and immediately dove into the questions, starting off with the  'Are any of you single?' question. I watched as Zayn, Niall, and Harry raised their hand. Louis and I exchanged a smile as I thought of my lovely Danielle.

The screams of the girls in the audience rose as the three rose their hands. Once it quieted down, Ellen asked Louis, "So Louis, you are obviously in a relationship since you didn't raise your hand. And who is this lucky girl, may I ask? What is she like and how did you meet?"

Louis smiled. "Her name is Eleanor Calder.. and what is she like? Well, she is the most beautiful girl I have ever laid eyes on, and the boys say she is a lot like me. She loves to talk, so it's never quiet when we're with each other. We can keep up a conversation, which is one of the things I look for in a girl. And she always laughs and loves to have a good time, and loves to live in the moment. Which is something I do as well."

It was true; Eleanor and Louis were perfect for each other. Even if they had only been dating for a month.

"How cute! How long?"

"A little over a month!" Louis exclaims happily. "We met through Harry, and he was the one that actually encouraged me to get to know her better. It didn't take too much encouragement though.. she definitely caught my eye."
