Emerson's POV

"She's so cute when she sleeps!"

"But that is such an awkward position! How did she possibly manage to sleep like that?"

"I feel really bad now, we left them here over night! What if something happened to them?"

I heard three different voices talk around me, and I'm not exactly sure if I'm awake or not. I heard yet another voice speak up.

"They're on completely other sides of the tree. That's weird cause she was well, ya know, cuddling with him last night."

Another voice.

"That's because she was asleep, Zayn."

Okay, I've decided this is not a dream. My eyelids pried themselves open and five blurry figures were all staring down at me. Some had amused expressions on their face, others had concern. And there was sun streaming down on us as well. What the hell...? Am I... oh yeah, they were drunk and left Liam and I stranded here in a secluded beach that no one knows about, and we slept leaning against a tree.

"Yeah, about that.. sorry?" Zayn apologized.

I must have looked confused because Niall laughed. "You kind of said that out loud.."

Oh shit, haha. "I'm not sure whether I should be pissed, or glad you guys are even alive."

Louis spoke up, "You should be glad because you know you couldn't live without the Tommo around." He winked.

I rolled my eyes and tried getting up, but instead I let out a painful groan. My back was so sore, and my neck felt like someone had taken glue and glued the side of my face to my shoulder. My knees, neck and back cracked as I got up.

Wincing, I checked the other side of the tree and found Liam missing.

Oh my God. Where did he go? "Guys, where did Liam go?"

As I finished the sentence, he came strolling up to the rest of us. Sheepishly, he replied, "I had to pee."

"Oh."

The awkward silence only lasted a few seconds before my stomach growled unattractively.

I managed a weak smile. "I'm starving. Where's food?"

Niall burst into hysterics once I said those words.

"What?" I'm really tired and sore, I don't have the energy to think.

Ella snickered. "As usual.."

Maybe I was being a bit too bitchy, but this is what you get when you get stranded at the beach with the one person you dread spending time with, and sleeping leaning against a tree.  "Yeah, I'm hungry? Is there a law against that? It's not my fault, and I wouldn't be if I hadn't been left here because my friends were drunk." I ignored the shocked expression on Layla's face.

I took a deep breath and headed towards the car. The rest were left standing there murmuring about something. I opened the car door and was about to close it when Niall stopped it and told me to scoot over. He climbed in after me and shut the door.

It was silent for a bit before he spoke, "The boys aren't mad, they're just surprised. They actually laughed once you left and Ella's expression." He grinned at the end.

I smiled back in response, "Sorry about that, I just am sore and I don't think correctly when I'm starving."

Niall nodded his head, understanding what I'm saying. "It's alright! I'm like that too when I don't get food, except.. like a million times worse... So... how was last night? Stuck with Liam? I know that you two aren't exactly on the best of terms..."
