The ride to New York City was longer than the one from Wakanda to the Philippines - but they did stop in Wakanda to drop the King off. He could not afford to be away from his nation for too long; and was more than comfortable in letting Steve and Natasha handle the situation.

However the entire ride was awkward in many parts. Ray had slept earlier in the flight, and then slipped into another seizure. Though they were all more than prepared, with the exception of Bruce, and were able to stabilize her easily enough.

The rest of the ride, much to Ray's dismay, was spent making sure that she was okay. While Steve piloted the ship, Natasha, Sam, and Bucky kept eyes on Ray. Even Bruce did.

The scientist tried on multiple occasions to talk to Ray, and while she wasn't opposed to holding a conversation with him, it wasn't easy. There had been a lot of damage in their relationship, and the memories of the past day were the only real ones that she had of Bruce. While she wanted to extend herself in having a relationship with him it was much harder than she thought.

Ray had a very small circle of people she felt comfortable around, people she was herself with, and Bruce was not on the list yet.

As they approached the United States they went into stealth mode, making it quite easy to sneak into the unexpecting country which had yet to master the art of technology as Wakanda did.

They had to land the jet outside of the city, closer to White Plains, where it was easier to get to. There, a Wakandan Spy was waiting on T'challa's orders.

The six person strong party were brought to a black SUV, where the Wakandan Spy would help get them into the city and out of it the next morning.

The drive seemed longer to everyone than the actual jet ride there. They seemed to stop in New York traffic every five minutes or so.

Though Ray sat by the window and enjoyed everything she saw. She had no memories of what New York City was like and was more than excited to be seeing it for the first time.

Bucky sat beside her, and while not showing too much emotion in the presence of so many people, he fawned over how excited and intrigued she was. It had been a long time since he had seen that look in her face and was more than happy to sit by and watch her.

Eventually they stopped in front of a small house, though it looked more like a condo. There were steep steps that led up to it, and it was made entirely of brick. It looked perfectly in place with the city, and perfectly normal. It was everything that Ray wanted in life.
