"Here. These should help you feel a little stronger on your feet." Bruce handed his daughter a few pills. He had spent the entire morning morning on a sedative that would hopefully relax her body and her mind.

"How do I know you're not trying to kill me?" Ray attempted at a joke. Bruce's face fell at her words and his thoughts immediately returned to the time when the Hulk has tried to kill Ray. "Shit, I'm sorry. I didn't..." Ray tried to apologize.

"It's okay. You don't know it's poisoned." Bruce smiled at his daughter. He didn't want her to feel guilty about the joke; about anything. He would gladly take any insult or any jibe if it meant she would stay in his life.

Ray smiled and took the two pills, swallowing them with water. "These won't put me to sleep?"

"No. They should only calm you a little. Hopefully it'll stop with seizures for a short while. How's your throat?"

Ray set her hand on the metal disk that sat on the inside of her throat. She could just barely feel it under her skin. "Fine. I don't cough too much."

Bruce nodded. "Good."

"Thank you, Bruce. It means a lot." Ray told her father.

He smiled and nodded again. "You don't have to thank me. It's the least I could do."

"Do you know if Steve has contacted T'challa?"

"No. Not yet I don't think."

Their conversation was interrupted by the sound of yelling upstairs. They shared a lot before they both ran up the basement stairs and into the kitchen.

Steve and Bucky had gotten into an argument; but what it had been about was unknown to Ray. She looked between their red faces and agitated expressions.

The old Captain shook his head without a word and walked out of the kitchen, disappearing out the back door. Bruce gently touched the back of Ray's arm before he followed his old friend to see what was wrong.

Ray then turned her station towards Bucky. He was leaning against the kitchen counter with his arms crossed. He then looked at Ray. "What?"

"You okay?" She walked towards him.

"I'm fine. He just pissed me off."

"What happened?"

"It's nothing." Bucky told her as he thought back on their argument. They had argued about whether or not to bring Ray to Stark. Surely he had just as much resources as Dr. Kanu had. Though Bucky was still nervous about it.

Ray looked at him with an odd expression before nodding slowly, respecting that he didn't want to talk about it. "Okay, well I am here if you need me. I'm going to go out for a ride I think."
