All because of a cigarette

A few days after I meet with Cody I head to the arena so I can get a feel of what it will be like to be in an arena that big. I live on the very edge of the Mojave Desert which is only about a 15-minute drive from Vegas so I love the big city large crowds and the lights. Growing up with nothing around you for miles gives you plenty of places to work out and that's exactly what I have done my whole life. As I put my car in park I see a dark blue z71 pull into the parking lot next to me, for a second I think it's just Cody or Kenny but when I look closer I see baby blue eyes shining through black sunglasses.

As I step out of the car I try my hardest not to look in his direction, purely for my own sanity. I know that I'll be here for a while so I decide to take a smoke break while I know I have time to getaway. When I pull out the pack from my pocket I look frantically for my lighter but I guess I dropped it in the car. At this point, I don't have time to go back for it before I have to be in the conference room. I just sigh and take the cigarette from between my lips and pull my pack from my pocket again when I feel a hand catch my wrist and pull out a lighter for me. I place it between my lips again before I see who is attached to the hand holding the lighter. Jon Fucking Moxley.

Trying to maintain my composure as best I can, I raise my now lit cigarette to my lips to take a puff, all while keeping my eyes on his extremely muscular form. I lowered my hand after a long drag but kept my eyes on him. "Thanks." I know it's dumb but I really didn't know what else to say. He just shakes his head, which can never be a good sign, before slipping his lighter back onto his pocket.

"Your definitely not what I was expecting when they said we were getting a new addition to the women's roster." His voice is low and sends a shiver down my spine as he looks me up and down. "Lilith right?" He looks me up and down as if he could figure out what I'm like just by my looks. I just nod my head taking another drag before flicking off the ash. "So what exactly were you expecting... let me guess, prissy little bitch that's only in the company because she likes to kiss ass and can't fight?" I really don't know where I got the confidence from but I can tell I'm getting under his skin, as much as I hate to say it... I can see why he is so feared in this company.

He cocks an eyebrow and takes a step closer to me, placing his hands on either side of my head caging me against the wall. He takes off his glasses forcing me to look him in the eye. "Listen to me Lilith, you don't know who your talking to. I was told that you were supposed to be like me... well let me tell you something... you will never be like me. You can own the mic you can dress all badass but it all comes down to what you have when you step in that ring. And next week we see if you can play with the big boys." He leans in so I can feel his breath trickling down my neck. "But just between you and me... I don't think you have what it takes." I feel him nip at the shell of my ear before pulling back and walking inside the building.

I take the last drag off my cigarette before stomping out the butt and walking inside making my way straight to Cody and Kenny. After about ten minutes of looking, I finally decided to go look I'm the main part of the arena. As I step through the curtains I hear the familiar sound of the mat bouncing underneath someone's weight.

From the looks of it, this would be a headline match. I see Kenny go for a springboard but Cody caught him and delivered a pretty solid body slam. "Damn can this be a match for Full Gear?" My comment must have caught them off guard because when they went to stand up Cody stepped on the right hand of Kenny.

"Fucking hell Cody!" He just laughs and turns to me. "Ignore him he's just mad because I kicked his ass." I just laughed and make my way closer to the ring. "Come here I want you to meet someone." I hop onto the apron and step through the ropes, all to be met by the hand of Kenny.

"So your the one who is supposed to bring fire to our women's division." I just nod and shake his hand. "I'm the woman who is supposed to give WWE's women's division a run for its money." I hear a loud laugh bubble out of both men and I lean against the ropes.

After their laughter dies down I hear Cody let out one last chuckle before stepping through the ropes. "Come on there's someone backstage I want you to meet." He steps on the ropes so I can get through and hop off the apron.

As we make our way backstage we eventually come to the men's locker room; throwing them a confused glance the door is pushed open reveling the last person I want to see.

... Jon Moxley.
