Pam's pov
I pull into the driveway at 2:25am to see Erika's Jeep. I turn the car off and sit there for a minute
P- this kid just never listens to anything I say
I grab my work bag and I go into the house. I put my bag on the kitchen counter and I make my way upstairs. I open Jakes door and see Erika on top of Jake both sleeping. I sigh and I shut the door. He is a good kid when it comes to her. I go into my room and text jake so when he wakes up he could see it when I'm at work
P- Jake you have to listen to me. Your in trouble you can't be doing this. I'm trying to help you but you don't care. I leave at 11am and when I come back at 9pm night and Erika is still here we will have big problems.
3am
Erika's POV
I wake up from me just knowing that I should be here. I get out of Jakes grip and lay on my back. I sit up at the edge of the bed and I sit there for a while. I get up and go into the bathroom. I go and then walk back out and I lay beside jake who is now on his side. I pick Jakes phone up and take it off the charger. I put it fully dark and I see the message Pam sent Jake. I knew I shouldn't have stayed. I go on Instagram and it opens up to my page. I look over at him and smile. I go and look at him home page and most of its football and kids from our school. I see a girls name that I have never seen before, Lily west. It's her with a bunch of friends at the game. I go on his texts because I want to see what my name is it's been so many different things like baby, babe, and angel eyes. I look and it's babygirl🥵❤️. I go on his snap and open some from a couple girls from 2 days ago. They all told him to come over but I guess he ignored them. I go look at his pictures and they are all of me not knowing they were being taken. I go play one of his games he has on there. After a while he starts to get tagged in photos and a bunch of snapchats. I click on a Instagram and it's all football and the party. Which I'm guessing Snapchat would be the same. I look at the time 8:46 and I plug the phone in for the second time and the sunshine's in the room. Jake gets up and closes the curtains as just the blinds were shut. He lays down beside me
J- how long have you been up for
He says in his raspy voice and his eyes still closed. I put the phone down
E- like 3
He pulls me closer to him and pulls the covers over us to our necks.
E- *giggles* what are you doing
J- I'm cold and I want you
Jakes POV
I look over at my clock, 11:11am. I reach over Erika and grab my phone. Her head digs deeper into my chest. I go into my phone and see a bunch of apps opened. I look at my messages and see my mom texted me
P- Jake you have to listen to me. Your in trouble you can't be doing this. I'm trying to help you but you don't care. I leave at 11am and when I come back at 9pm and Erika is still here we will have big problems.
J- yup
I go on Instagram and just look at stuff waiting for Erika to wake up. Soon it hits 12:30 and I think I should wake Erika up.
J- rik
J- baby wake up
She puts her back towards me and flips the hood over her head. I move the hood out of her face and kiss her cheek. She pulls the covers over her and I get up putting a hoodie on. I go to the bathroom and brush my teeth. I go back out and lay on the edge where is laying. I kiss her nose and she scrunches up her nose.
E- you know what day it is
J- Saturday
E- yeah now let me sleep
J- ooo someone has An attitude
I get up leaving her in there. I make myself cereal and finish it. I go into the laundry room and change into jeans and a black vans long sleeve. I put some socks on and head back into my room by now it's like one and she is still in bed. I grab my phone and I put it in my pocket I also grab my juul. I go sit outside in the backyard and pull my juul out and talk to chanthony in our group chat
J- yo
An- hey
C- why weren't you at the party
J- I got my car and bike keys taken away and I can't do anything after school or go to any parties
C- sorry man
J- nah your good
An- the new girl lily was there last night
J- chance you get some?
C- no
C- i heard she got her eyes on someone else
C- she just got here I don't get it
J- you'll find someone one day
An- hopefully this kid is stupid as hell
C- that is true
J- I got in more trouble last night because erika surprised me at school
J- her flight got cancelled so she took an earlier flight and I told her to come over
J- I guess my mom came in when we were sleeping. She wasn't happy
An- what a baddie
J- shut up I didn't see her in a week
C- no excuse you should have listened to mommy
