Jakes POV
I wake up throw on some jorts and red shirt. I do my things in the bathroom and I grab my bag. I go downstairs and I grab my keys And I go into the garage getting on my bike. I park my bike into a parking spot and I unbutton my helmet. I put it in my hand and I walk into the school. Everyone parts ways as I walk in the middle. It's only the second day of school and it's like royalty.
Erika's POV
I watch As everyone parts ways as Jake walks in the hallways. I stand at my locker and then this guy approaches me
M- hey I'm Matt
E- hi?
M- you want to go in a date with me
E- no I'm okay
He starts to get closer
M- why
E- I'm busy
M- with what it's the second day of school
I walk away but he follows me getting closer
M- I can show you a-
He gets cut off and I look behind me and see him against the locker with Jake holding him
J- I maybe a dickhead but you gotta stop
Jake pushes him the other way and I walk to Shannon's locker.
R- I'm only at school to get a boyfriend
E- I'm with you
S- your the smartest person ever, you love school
E- it's senior year it's different
The bell rings and we make our way to English. We sit in our seats and the teacher walks in. She starts to teach a short lesson. We have to write a short story, so I get right on that so I don't have to do it for homework.
Jakes POV
I get off my bike
O- I had fun Jake
J- me too
O- I'll see you around
I may have brought a girl home and then came back to school. I missed English and science and history but right now I'm on lunch. I walk into the school And go to my locker to put my helmet away. I head to the lunch room and I head to our table. I take my juul out and I look around the lunch room after putting it in my mouth.
An- we saw that you brought a girl back on your bike
J- yeah I left with her and had fun and then came with her.
C- I'm surprised it wasn't on the first day
J- hey she asked and I gave it to her
C- let's go
J- where
C- roam The halls
Us three get up and go into the hallways. Tony takes my juul out of my mouth and puts it in his pocket.
J- dude
An- just shut up
Tony stops and then talks to this girl. I go into his back pocket and take my juul out. I place it back into my mouth and I continue my walk in the halls with Chance. He walks into the bathroom and I follow. He talks to this guy and he hands him money and then gives chance weed. I walk out not wanting anything to do with that. As soon as I rush out, I bump into someone.
J- my bad
E- no your fine
J- Jake *smiles*
E- Erika
She smiles at me and I might have had a crush on her for a while now. She is really hot. I walk to my locker grabbing all my things and put my helmet in my hand. I make my way to my bike and I get on ditching the rest of the school day. I drive around for a bit until I park my bike on the side of the road. I get off and pull my helmet off halfway. I go on my phone just looking at stuff. I hear sirens and cops pass me but they stop in front of me.
C- hey what's your name
J- why
C- we are looking for someone
I stand up backing away from them
C- buddy what's your name
J- Jake
C- Jake what
J- Paul
He radios the station and starts to move closer to me
C- face away from me and get on your knees. Interlock your fingers and don't move.
Should I run? If I go back that's my second time in 2 months. I turn around and run. I go through An ally and make a quick left then right. I look back and he isn't chasing me any more. I stand in a corner for a bit till I think he's gone. I come out and look around. His car isn't there so I run the my bike and I start it and go home
Erika's POV
My last class is gym and that just finished. I grab my things from my locker and head to my Jeep. I get in and and go home. My dad is actually home and in the kitchen
D-how was your day
E- pretty good. How was yours
D-good. How are the girls
E- there good
D- any new friends
E- nope
D- guys?
E- nope
An- good
E- how bout you
An- you wish, that's never happening
E- dad, it's been four years I think it's time
D- I still don't know I just feel bad
E- dad it's not your fault it happened and you could maybe move on
M- I'm home
E- I don't get why you don't just come with me instead of walking
M- because I have friends
E- I do too
M- yeah two of them
E- and how many do you have three
M- I do actually
D- guys
My dad hugs me and I make my way up to my room ignoring Morgan behind me.
