ACT I. INTRODUCTION ARC

-Second Person's POV-

The week has finally come to an end and you were currently cleaning up your table, stuffing all your things inside your school bag without a care. You felt excitement bubble up inside of you and you couldn't contain yourself from smiling widely throughout the whole day. Today, you were going on a park date with Erin, your boyfriend of two years and still going strong.

You still wonder 'till this day why he decided to choose you as his girlfriend when he could have approached one of his "fans" instead. You never stood out nor have any admirable traits. As a matter of fact, your presence was never acknowledged by anyone other than your friends until Erin approached you.

Erin was really popular among the girls, maybe the boys even, all because of his outstanding appearance and charming personality. You, on the other hand, was also popular among the girls. Though, it isn't for any special reasons, but simply because you were the 'popular guy's girlfriend'. The female population in your school disliked that.

You would feel their glares directed to you every time you walk down the halls. Sometimes they would go as far as to physically bring harm to you or send you death threats, but you being you, you decided to just ignore them; It doesn't mean that you weren't affected by any of it though.

     "You still look so pretty even when you're frowning." A voice drags you out of your thoughts.
Smiling, you instantly recognized the owner of the voice.

     "Hey Erin," you greet him as you wrap your arms around his torso, giving him a gentle hug. "How was class?"

He wrapped his arms around your smaller form lovingly and rests his chin on top of your head with a small hum.

     "Good," he responds. "It would've been better if you were there though." he added with a small chuckle.
You could feel the vibration on his chest when he chuckled, it was a calming feeling and it didn't fail to make you feel like butterflies were swarming inside your stomach. You felt your cheeks warm up at his words. You'll never get used to his random flirts here and there.

Rolling your eyes, you smiled sheepishly and broke the hug to finally met his lavender eyes that stared down at you longingly.

     "You promised me a date today, yeah?"

He stared at you for a moment before perking up as if a light bulb lit up inside his head.

     "Right! Why would I forget about that," exclaims Erin, slapping a hand on his forehead.
You gave him a small laugh. It wasn't that surprising to you anymore whenever he would forget about a date or an event you two had planned, it happened a lot of times already to the point that you got used to it. Though, it did stung a bit.

When you told your friends about this, they would tell you that it was a red flag but you chose your boyfriend's side and defended him, telling them that he was probably just forgetful at times.

     "I'm telling you (Y/n)! I can sense a red flag around that man," Alice would tell you, throwing both her hands up in the air.
     "Maybe you should settle down with a less popular boyfriend. I mean, look at him! He's always entertaining other girls even though you two are in a relationship."

     "Or you're just jealous that (Y/n) has a popular boyfriend while you're single." Satoshi would roll his eyes at the white-haired girl's remarks.
And that, dear reader, was how Satoshi got his nut cracked.

You laughed at the silly memory, feeling Erin's fingers lace themselves around your own. Your hand on his fits very much like a glove and you wouldn't know what to do if he ends up letting it go. Your eyes saddened at the thought but disappeared as soon as Erin's soft voice reach your ears.

     "Shall we go then?" he asks.
You looked down at you intertwined hands before looking at him with a small but affectionate smile. "Yeah."

All the thought of him leaving you instantly left your mind. You trust him with all your heart and you felt like the luckiest woman in the world, having a boy like him as your partner.

That's because I have chosen to start rewriting this book. Apologies was originally an old book that I have made back at around 2018(?) and was discontinued at around 2019/start of 2020. I continued writing the book once more about a week ago.. or two, I can't remember. Like I said, I will be changing a shit ton of dialogues, events, and plot points.
