-Second Person's POV-
You sat on a bench alone while you patiently wait for Erin since he had to take an important call from his father. You understood and stayed behind, watching as little children happily play and run around the park with their parents following behind them; either grumpily scolding them or smiling and laughing alongside the children.
You envied them, the kids I mean: their youth, their innocence, their lack of responsibilities. Oblivious to everything that's happening around them. It's something anyone would wish for, especially the lack of responsibilities part.
'It must be nice.' you contemplated internally, letting a small sigh escape your lips.
You were starting to get really bored of just sitting around and staring at children (not in a creepy way, God no) so you decided to stand up and take a quick walk around the park, surely Erin wouldn't see a problem with that. You'll simply tell him that you got tired of waiting and decided to wander off for awhile.
The park wasn't that big so it wouldn't take long before you find yourself ending up on the same bench that you once sat on. Though the park is small, the atmosphere around it is very much lively. Families, couples, and singles alike would stroll around the park and it's a refreshing sight for you after seeing nothing but a white board and your classmates' faces for an entire week.
As you were walking, you couldn't help but wonder what Erin's phone call was about since it was taking very long. You just hoped that you can start your date with him already since you've been really looking forward to it.
You halted when you saw a familiar mop of black hair sticking out from behind a tree, seemingly speaking with someone you couldn't see.
Curious, you approached them and they surprisingly didn't notice you approaching. You stood in a safe distance away from them, but it was close enough to hear their conversation.
"Why are you still dating her," you couldn't see their face but you could tell that it was a female speaking just by their voice. "You can just break up with her and be with me instead."
"I can't." Erin responded with a low voice as if he didn't want to be heard.
"Why not?" It was silent for a moment after the girl had asked her question.
"I love her." he responds.
"No, you don't. That wasn't what you.." the female trailed off, immediately silencing herself before moving her gaze to look at your [E/C] orbs.
Your eyes widened when you two made eye contact. You've been caught.
Erin soon turned around as well and saw you standing there, as if nothing happened, he waved at you and ushered for you to come towards him in which you did.
You awkwardly stride over to where they stood and stayed by Erin's side, eyeing the woman warily. The girl before you was wearing the same uniform as you were except her skirt was obviously shorter, it was barely covering anything. A blush of embarrassment settled itself on your cheeks as you tore your gaze away from her short skirt, you didn't mean to stare. Thankfully, they didn't notice you staring.
"Is she your classmate?" You finally spoke up after calming your blush down, intertwining your fingers with Erin who gave you a close-eyed smile.
"Yes," he confirmed. "(Y/n) meet Dianne."
-Erin's POV-
I lied about receiving a call from my father just to meet up with Dianne. I completely forgot about the, quote on quote, date that I've planned for us Today, but I'm also supposed to be with (Y/n) which made things very complicated. 'Why must my memory be of a goldfish?' I groaned inside of my thoughts.
I'm sure Dianne would understand. Actually, she should be thankful that I'm still tolerating her ass. If it isn't for her body then I would've left her ages ago.
I finally arrived at the spot where she told me she would be waiting. Dianne leaned on the tree with both her arms crossed under her chest. Her blonde locks swayed softly with the air, blue eyes holding a hint of anger. I figured that it was anger towards (Y/n) and I's relationship.
"Hey," I started, not so enthusiastically. I knew that a long lecture was soon to come about breaking up with (Y/n). "Sorry, I forgot I planned a date for (Y/n) and I Today."
Just as I said those words, her bickering that I hated started. I never really paid attention to any of it and simply stared at her. Or rather something else huge that belongs to her (//smack//).
"Why are you still dating her," I finally returned my attention back to her. "You can just break up with her and be with me instead."
"I can't." I responded. It wasn't entirely a lie, I got into our relationship due to my mom pressuring me to get a girlfriend. The whole family liked (Y/n) and it would be a disaster if I broke up with her, I might get disowned. On the other hand, I also didn't want to hurt (Y/n)'s feelings.
"Why not?" Dianne questioned, a look of frustration on her face. I opened my mouth to reply only to shut it once again when I notice (Y/n) behind me from the corner of my eye, eavesdropping.
"I love her." I immediately responded, careful not to slip up.
"No, you don't. That wasn't what you.." I gave Dianne a glare before she could finish her sentence. It worked and it seemed like she had also noticed (Y/n).
Her lips tugged into a frown as the girl approached but she quickly covered it up as I turn and wave at (Y/n) who awkwardly approached us.
There was a few moment of silence between the three of us. I felt sweat running down the back of my neck but I made sure to keep a calm composure. What if she heard the entire conversation? Does she know? I began to feel nervous and my palms began to sweat intensely.
I felt (Y/n) wrap her hand around mine which surprisingly calmed my nerves. "Is she your classmate?" (Y/n) softly asks to which I responded by giving her one of my close-eyed smiles.
"Yes," I started, moving my gaze away from (Y/n) in order to give Dianne a look. "(Y/n) meet Dianne."
