-Author's POV-

(Y/n) awkwardly stared up at the male before moving her gaze towards the half-naked girl who was trying to cover herself up with her arms.

"Why aren't you in class?" The blonde asked as he tugs her up from her sitting position forcefully but carefully at the same time, making sure that he doesn't inflict any harm towards (Y/n).
She recognized him, he was one of Erin's close friends, Aaron Campbell. He's popular just like Erin and the rest of their group. Aaron is a bit of a player but a nice guy nonetheless.

"Why aren't you in class?" (Y/n) shot back with one eyebrow raised, trying to rub the puffiness out of her eyes. Aaron rolled his crimson eyes in a mocking manner upon hearing her snarky response.

     "I believe I asked you first, (L/n)."

     "Well, I asked you second."

He frowned at her stubborn attitude but shrugged his shoulders towards the girl who was fixing herself.

"I thought our reason was a bit obvious already," one side of his lips curled up, forming a sly smirk. It disappeared quickly when he examined (Y/n)'s vulnerable state.
"Bloody hell, you look like you cried yourself dry, (L/n). What happened?"

Her lips stayed sealed, reluctant to speak about what happened. It wasn't because she didn't trust Aaron, It was the girl that he had brought with him that was keeping her from telling him anything.
She recognized her as one of Erin's die hard fans. Surely she would tell the others about it and cause her more problems in the future— she wouldn't want that happening.
Aaron noticed (Y/n) staring at the girl with a bothered look and decided to turn to her.

"Leave us." he demanded, tone flat.

     "But— I'll get caught!"

"That's your own problem, not mine. Now, shoo! Go!" Aaron hissed, pushing the girl out of the room so he can get some time alone with (Y/n).
After he slid the door close, he turned to (Y/n) who stood there dumbfounded.

"You know I could've left you and your girlfriend alone to do your.. uh— business." she muttered in hopes of breaking the awkward atmosphere.

"Girlfriend? Oh God no, we're just friends."

"Friends who do the dirty deed together?" (Y/n) questioned, her way of wording it made it seem like she was talking to a child.
Aaron looked down at her in disbelief before letting out a snort.

"Dirty deed?" he repeated with amusement lacing his tone.
"(L/n), you sound like a pre-school who thinks sex is a bad word." Aaron teased which made (Y/n) go red in the face out of embarrassment.
"And have you never heard of friends with benefits?" he asked with a casual shrug of his shoulder.

"Of course I have." she crossed her arms after regaining her composure, lips tugging into a frown. (Y/n) didn't like the term and what it meant but didn't comment any further.

"Forget 'bout what you saw. Why were you crying— AND skipping class, might i add." Aaron asked, both concern and curiosity lacing his tone.

Though they weren't very close friends, she felt like she could trust him with what happened so she took a deep breath and started to explain what happened back in the classroom with the girls and told him about her doubts and insecurity.

Surprisingly, Aaron was staring at her intently and was paying close attention to every word she says. It felt nice letting all her frustrations and worries out, she really needed it after being fed up for awhile now.
Talking to Aaron helped a lot in releasing the heavy weight she felt inside her chest, he was a good listener and (Y/n) appreciated that.
