- 's POV-

"Dispose of all of them except (L/n)." I state to the boy that stood before me, shaking agressively like the scared filthy rat he was.

I noticed how a lump formed inside the boy's throat as he swallow down his saliva with difficulty. It was obvious that he was scared.
Either of me or the inhumane job that I had asked him to do, maybe even both. Nonetheless, his fear was an amusing sight to see.

He averted his eyes to look up at me and it seemed like he wanted to protest and decline the job but his determination to speak dissolved the moment his eyes met my assertive gaze. The intensity of my gaze was enough to make him shut his trap and enough to make him realize just how much control I hold over the situation.

The boy soon submitted and quietly placed a hand on top of where his heart would be, giving a slight bow without question.

"Make sure you don't leave any traces that would lead to the police suspecting me."

"Of course."

"I'll know if you purposely leave any evidence behind. So don't even bother trying." I added sternly with a slight smile on my lips that didn't quite match the look inside my eyes, a look that was very much deadly.

"Ye-Yes."

"And if you decide to betray me, I'll not only have your head in a platter but your loved ones as well. Understood?"

With my unsettling smile still present, I watched as he nervously nod his head as a response to my statement. I gave him a satisfied look.

"Good. I have no use for you anymore. Get out of my sight."

I waved a hand in front of me which signalled that he was dismissed from my presence.

The boy excused himself and hurriedly slipped out of the room without looking back at my form.

Once the male was completely gone and away from my room, I slumped back on my chair with a slight huff. I dropped the smile that I was upholding and replaced it with an annoyed scowl.

"Why do I have to clean up after Erin's mess?" I grumbled under my breath, playing with the sleeves of my white button up shirt out of boredom.

My mind drifted back to the memory of my friend storming inside my house, uninvited, and telling me about what happened between him and (L/n).

Now, his relationship wasn't my concern at all and I couldn't care less about him getting caught since it was entirely his fault for being disloyal, but I couldn't possibly let the gossips spread. That would ruin the Himiko's reputation and affect my family's dignity as well.
We solely rely on them for power after all. Without their reputation, we would still be considered as a small and powerless company.

"Honestly! Why date someone you don't love?! He could've picked one of his sidechicks that he fucked and date them instead, why would he choose a low life like (L/n)?!?" I started a fit loudly, my face contorting into disgust after mentioning the girl's last name.

"Dianne's richer and would benefit his reputation a lot. I can never believe how brainless Himiko is." I rant on angrily, running my fingers through my hair and tugging at it slightly out of frustration as I recall our conversation from earlier.
