Daddy loves you

We completed the MRI and LP for Alex and found nothing pointing to any of our theories. I was sitting in the office with everyone completely out of ideas. We even got Dr. Parks from paediatrics to look over our scans as Alex is still a minor. She found nothing. We had Wilson look for any kind of cancerous tumour and he couldn't find anything.

"The only theory left is House's theory that her dad had sex with her" I looked up and said

"King, we've been avoiding his absurd theory for so long, why come back to it now?" Replied Foreman

"Because it's the only idea we have left" I pleaded

"Even if he was right how could we prove it?" Said Chase

"We could confront the father and tell him that Alex will die if he doesn't tell the truth" I said

"Finally someone agrees with me, Meaning that King is the only person in this room in their right mind" said House as he looked up from his gameboy

"Thank you" I said

"Now King And Wilson go check and see if the dad really REALLY loves Alex" Said House

"You notice I don't work for you, I have my own department to run" replied Wilson

"Yeah but that's your girlfriend and you don't want her being attacked by a psychotic dad now do you?" House said

Wilson sighed at defeat to House and left with me.

"Do you ever wonder why he only ever picks us for the crappy jobs?" Asked Wilson once we were walking down the hallway

"Because he realized that we're happy and he wants to take his own misery out on us?" I shrugged

"What are we going to say to the dad?"

"Uh maybe just ask him for the truth"

"Like he's actually going to tell us and even if he wanted to tell us he wouldn't because we might tell someone else"

"Then we can slap him and examine the slap, then he has doctor patient confidentiality"

"Great idea" Said Wilson sarcastically

"You got a better one?" I replied

"Fair" he said as we approached the father

"Is she any better?" He asked once he saw us

"Her condition has been stable for the past few hours but we only have a few leads on what she may have" Said Wilson

"Okay well what are they?"

"It could be PTSD" I replied

"What, she hasn't had anything happen to her"

"Sir, we need to ask you something and you need to be 100% honest or else Alex will die" I said

"Well what is it?"

"Have you ever had sex with your daughter?"

"What?"

"We should probably talk privately huh, come on, walk with me." I said and started walking, I looked back at a confused Wilson as Alex's father started following me. We walked into the pharmaceuticals office and I shut the door.

"Sir, you need to tell me" I Said once we were inside

"I'm not telling you anything" he replied

I poked the side of his neck

"I just checked for swelling of the lymph nodes, your fine, now we have doctor patient confidentiality meaning I can't legally tell anyone what you said to me in here" I said trying to get him to talk
