Pretend

I woke up alone in my bed this morning. Wilson and I decided it would be best to not go to work together as we were pretending to be broken up.

I walked to my living room and made myself a coffee. I then went to get dressed a t-shirt and some jeans from Urban Outfitters, it was pretty casual but it would do. I then walked downstairs to my parking garage, I wanted to drive today because the busses are delayed from an accident at the station. I got into my car and started driving, I sometimes wonder why I even have a car as my house is only a 10 minute bus ride from the hospital.

I arrived at the hospital and decided to park underground today because it was raining and I didn't want to get wet. I parked in my spot and got out of my car, I looked across the parking lot and saw Wilson.

"Hey" I said and walked over to him

"You ready?" He asked

"Sure am Ex-Boyfriend" I replied

"You should probably go in first"

"Okay, see you later"

"See you later" he said and I walked away.
I walked to the elevator and stepped in. It was going to take some good acting (which I have none of) to convince these people that Wilson and I broke up.
I got up to the office and sat down at the table. Foreman was the only  one there and I'm glad, Foreman is the kind of person that sticks to his own business and doesn't push to know yours.

"Morning" he said to me, he was standing at the coffee machine

"Hey"

"Want a coffee?"

"Nah, I'm good"

"Suit yourself, the case is on the table by the way"

I looked down at the case on the table. 15 year old male, abnormal muscle contractions and abdominal pain.

"Oh and by the way, he's a saint" said Foreman once I looked up from the file

"What does that mean?" I asked

"He worships god for a living. He works at a church"

"I just hope he is prepared to meet king atheist" I said referring to House

Then Chase walked in

"Morning" he said

"Morning Govna!" I Said

"I'm not British"

"Yeah But I don't know what Aussies say"

"Didgeridoo" said Foreman in a fake Australian accent

"That's an instrument" replied Chase

We brushed over that and continued our conversation, we were salvaging our only good time before work started. Taub walked in next.

"Good morning" he said smiling

"Somebody's happy" said Foreman

"Well I'll have you know things are going great with my wife" he said

We nodded

"Speaking of that, how are things going between you and Wilson?" Asked Taub

I choked on my coffee

"Oh, yeah, we ummm, we broke up" I managed to get out

"Why?" Said Chase

"Things just weren't working out and we decided this would be the best thing"

"But won't it be awkward when you hang out, I mean, you've seen each other naked" Said Taub
