I feel the warm sun on my back and roll over in my queen size bed. I reach my arm out to try and find my sister. She must have gone to her own bed. I get up and hop in the shower. I wash my long black hair and hop out. I look at myself in the mirror and see my bright blue eyes, my pale face and my freckles. Im taller then most people and look older. I pull my hair back into a messy bun and put on jeans and a green sweater. I go out of the bathroom and go into the kitchen. I make my 2 younger siblings some lunch and wake them up. I make us breakfast and some hot milo.

"Jamie.. Can you walk Nick and Lily to school?"

My dad ask from his bedroom, he works the nightshifts at work.

"Sure dad!"

We moved to a new town, out in the outback. I miss our old unit, the kids could walk across the road to school and dad was home more.

"Jamie there's money on the counter please buy some food after school."

Ahh yes, there's no food in the house. I grab the money and put it in the side pocket of my school bag. I get the kids ready and then let them out. I grab my keys and iPhone on the way out. I put on my black Docs. Lily has my school bag, I lock up and we walk out the gate. The school is about a 10 minute walk, I tell the kids to meet me out here after school. I put my headphones in and listen to music while I waited for the bus. The high school was on the other end of the town. It turns up late, great. I pull out my brand new bus pass and hop on. Wow, this place is chaos. I don't brother sitting down, I just stand and ignore the people around me.

When the bus pulled up at my new school, it's not very big. I get off the bus straight away and go to the office. I wait in there for one of the teachers to see me. They said I would get a tour of the school first day back. A boy comes out of her office with a smirk across his face. He has hair that is a dark brown and sticks to his forehead. He has bright green eyes and is kinda tanned. He walks out and The teacher calls me in.

"Welcome Jamie.. Is it?"

"Yes, Jamie Williams."

"Ok.. You'll be in year 10."

"Yep.. I'm 16 years old."

"Ok cool, I'll get someone to show you around now."

I offer her a small smile and sit in the grey chair.
