I think to myself, I might as well go and try to reason with her. I get up and walk inside I clearly came in at the wrong time. Because theses are the words she said to me.

Just think while you've been getting down and out about the liars and the dirty, dirty cheats. Of the world, you could have been getting down to this sick beat.
My ex man * points to Jake* brought his new girlfriend * points to me* and she's all like Oh my God! But, I'm just gonna shake. And the fella * points to Ryan* over there with the hella good hair wouldn't you come over baby. So we can shake, shake, shake. "
"Kat that enough!"
Jake says as he pulls out the cord.
"Of what?"
She ask, I hop up and see she's smells like shots.
"She's been drinking with Ryan."
He whispers in my eyes.
"Sorry I'm clearly in the middle of something. I'll go over to Ryan. YO RY!"
He comes over and helps her down.
"Kat.. He was never your guy."
"Hey you can have him, but don't cross me again and I'll wouldn't be as drunk."
"Bull.."
I have no idea what I'm doing. I just need to keep her from leaving with Ryan.
"Listen her Hun, I liked Jake a lot but. First time crossing me, so you get off easy. Take your chances and run."
"Kat.. Please don't."
It was Jake who spoke up.
"What do you want from me? Seriously? You go behind my back and then you want forgiveness. Bite me!"
"Ryan don't you dare take her."
Jake says.
"Can't stop me mate."
He helps her down and I see the rage boil in his veins. He punches Ryan, Kat gets him off him. And she hugs Jake.
"Please.. I need to go and think.."
"Not with him.."
"He's the only one who cares."
She says he voice cracks and she walks outside. I follow her unsure why.
"What do you want from me!?!"
She says she annoyed.
"To explain.."
"For what? Seriously? Please leave me alone. Clearly I was stupid enough to take a chance on you."
"What do you mean by that?"
"I don't trust new kids they stuff up everything!"
She shouts back, my blood boils how dare she talk to me like that.
"Don't talk to me like that!"
I yell back, she turns back shocked.
"Since when do you have a backbone?!"
She says coldly. That's it, I go to punch her but she blocks it and flips me. Jake and Ryan come running out.
"Stay away from me please! Go get your things and leave!"
She says and walks back inside, people start to leave the house. I grab my stuff and leave the necklace in her room. I go out and see her on the couch head down. I see her make up running.
"Kat.."
"Leave."
She points to the door and I walk out. Jake is waiting for me.
"I'll drop you off and come back and stay with her."
"She has every right to be mad."
I hang my head low, he goes to the house across the road and comes out with a beat up four wheel drive.
"It's my brothers, come on."
He unlocks the door and lets me in, The car smells like ash and beer.
"Don't beat yourself up.."
He says eyes on the road.
"Why not? I'm pretty sure I screwed things up so badly."
"Don't worry.. I'll talk to her and text you in the morning."
He drops me off at my house and doesn't leave until I'm in the house. I go straight to bed. I can't believe what I did to such a nice person. I fall asleep at about midnight.
