Chapter 7.

The week few by, my dad said I could go over to Kat's for a "sleepover." Jake has something special planned since it's her birthday party. She didn't tell anyone through, just said it was a pool party. He got all the guest to agree to bring gifts for her, and he was gonna get cake. I got her a small sliver locket with a pair of angel wings on it. I put it in a small box with a ribbon over it. I check the time on my iPhone 10:10am, I don't go over until 12 to help set up with Jake. I go shower and braid my hair, I put on a tie dye singlet top over my blue bikini. I put on black bored shorts and go into my room. I finish packing things to take to Kat. Jake said he'll pick me up on the way. I get bored so I watch some daytime TV and do some homework.

I pack up my stuff and lock up the house. I check my iphone again, no more messages. Kat told me she liked Jake on Thursday. But, I kinda hop he likes me. I mean I know it's back to say but, he's the best guy ever. He pull up in his blue ute. It's a ford, it has a babysit in the back.
"This is Nick's car."
He says as he see my eyes drift to the back seat. I hope in and throw my bag into the back seat. He turns up the music and were listening to Come with me now on tripe m. He was drumming his fingers in time. We come to a 2 story bricked house. It has a beautiful garden out the front. He pulls up in the drive way and I get out. I go up to the door and knock. Jake throws me my bag and Kat lets us in. There lough room was huge and it leads to a big backyard.
"Let's get to work."
She says and claps her hands.

She had everything you ever wanted at a party. A stage, pool, drinks (some I will not be drinking), food, chocolate fountain. It all, she turns 16, so Nick must have gone all out. Guest started showing up at 6:00pm and by 7:30 the place was packed. I was dancing in the corner with Jane, when The blonde girl comes over from before.
"Jake and Kat are about to do a sing off!"
She says and pulls Jane over, I follow.
"Ok so she needs 2 more people on stage with her to sing bang bang. He wants to sing Nickie's parts, I'll do Jessie. Jane you get to do the high notes."
She says, the music starts playing and they get up and sing. They where amazing, Kat knew the whole rap and the other girls did an amazing job. Then Jake and Ryan got up and Sang new thang. By Redfoo the audience got to vote. Kat, Jane and blonde won! Then Jake got off stage, Kat got pulled away from him. He walked outside and i followed.
"What's up?"
I ask as I take a seat next to him.
"Kats always busy at these things. I wanted to talk to her."
"About what?"
"How I feel."
He looks down at the ground, I use my finger to pull his head up. In that moment, I kissed him. Like French kiss, Kat walks out of the House.
"What the fu.."
We pull apart before she could finish.
"Clearly.. I missed something, don't worry I'll go back inside. Leave you 2 lovebirds alone."
She says before walking inside.
"Mother.. Kat!"
Jake says and runs after her, I can't believe I did that. I sit on the sit and drink a bit more. She'll never forgive me, I screwed up big time.,
