I glared at Jeff. His carved face didn't show any regret of his mistake. His face was blank like he didn't care that the gas was almost gone. The red arrow started to go down slowly to E just as my expedition for Jeff decreased. I let an annoyed sigh and lad back into the leather seat. The seat felt hot through my cloths putting a burn felling on my scars, slouching made the burning fell inch. The sun shined bright in my eyes, I squinted my eyes to look at the road. A dead raccoon was on the side of the road, it's black and white horizontal striped tail and black fury back had tire tracks carved like a scar on my body. The only difference is that I survived. Red blood from the raccoon was splattered on the side of the road showing that the kill was new. Flys flew over the raccoon's body rubbing their legs all over the blood collecting deceases from the tinny hairs on the flys feet. Jeff poked my leg pulling me from my thoughts on the raccoon. His index finger still had blood on them which made a bloodily dot on my jeans. I really want to change in different cloths, I gave Jeff a pleading look by making my eyes bigger. Jeff growled at me like a dog he is.
"Open the glove department," Jeff commented his voice raspy from the lack of water in his throat. He pointed at the light brown leather glove department that was in front of my face. I did as told and opened the glove department, inside the leather glove department was scattered paper that looked important. Probably for the car information, I thought with the paper, was few pieces of empty wrappers, some of the wrappers was grey and had fatted words. The smell of the department was stronger than the car. The same cigaret and rotten smell that you will smell at an old car dealer. Only one wrapper stood out from the clutters of paper and wrappers in the far corner on the right side of the glove department. What was so unique from the wrapper was that most of the wrappers was either crumbled or ripped violently but this wrapper was placed neatly to the conner like the wrapper was important. I grabbed the wrapper being gentle on the corners of the wrapper. The sun shined bright on the perfect cursive handwriting written in bright blue, a small golden ribbon tapped neatly on the front side of the wrapper. I didn't bother reading the handwriting with the big loops on some parts. It was weird, some wrappers did had big loops and perfect weighting but never did the company used their own handwriting someone must of gave him a gift. I looked at Jeff with confusion. Who in the world will give you anything? His face was focused on the road so I looked back at the wrapper. I turned the wrapper around the silver shined in my eyes blinding me for a second, closing my eyes to retreat from the light. Small colors appear when I closed them tightly. I waited for a second before coming back to the wrapper. This time I read the cursive writing it didn't take long to read the words. My heart acted a little just staring at the beautiful yet deadly handwriting. The words that can kill yet hail any heart from the human race. Three words that can change someone's life, I love you was written on the back of the wrapper in the same handwriting as the front but more bigger to read better. I sniffed the wrapper out of curiosity the smell of sugary syrup and a hint of cinnamon must be cherry flavor. Most company's like to use cinnamon with chocolate to give the chocolate a cherry flavor. I looked at the cover of the wrapper with the ribbon,"For you my dear a cherry chocolate drop. Happy Anniversary." I chuckled at the romantic gift but I felt a little sad that Jeff had someone special in his heart. Jeff grabbed the wrapper from my hand and shoved the wrapper in his pocket. I jumped at his fast movement while Jeff swerved the car when he snatched the wrapper from my hands. I looked back at Max's to make sure he's okay. Max's body bumped the nearest door that was closed to him. The leather seat made a farting noise as Max's sleeping body relaxes in his new spot. The sun shined bright in Max's eyes, Max made a whimpering sound then his opened blue eyes. The light shined in a perfect angle that made his eyes sparkles as the sun will do to a lake at early dawn. For a second Max looked looked into my eyes.
"Weeeeeee." Max whispered his voice weak and tired. He laid his oily blond head on the window letting the cold air from the outside to take over his face. He looked out the window seeing the bright white windmills has blue eyes didn't show any strange behavior to react what he saw this morning. The only thing that was messed was his blond hair on the left side of his face. I smiled at Max with joy and relive Max was a strong kid for his age. Finally Max had a good night sleep this week. The dark circles from under his eyes was still digging in his skin but lucky when we go to Jeff's house for a little while the dark circles will disappear. Jeff growled at me then pointed at the glove department again like I was some animal not obeying him.
