Another High School Story

Katie walked down the hallways of Scarlet highschool. Eyes were on her as she walked but she didn't care about what people had to say about her. Whispers occurred as she walked by, girls and boys spoke about her.

"Hey Katie." one of the bitch ass- Sorry girls that so-called ruled the school called out to her.

"What do you want Andrea?" Katie sighed asking the other brunette. Her face was full of contour and other makeup products the Author doesn't know how to name cause they're dumb.

"Well, I- well they," she pointed to the other girls around her, about two had blond hair and one had brown hair, but they all wore similar revealing clothes. "Want you to join our clique."

"What clique?" 

"The popular clique."

"No," Katie said stoically. The people in the hallway stopped to listen in.

"Listen, Gardner," she said crossing her arms. "This group will make you cooler and better than a small little girl."

Katie rolled her eyes. "I could eat a bowl of alphabet soup and shit out a smarter sentence than what you just said."

"Well, You're as ugly as a pig," she said trying to come back.

Katie smirked. She's spent enough time with the Stolls to learn some good roasts. "It's kind of hilarious watching you try to fit your entire vocabulary into one sentence."

She pushed past her as others around her laughed. Her phone rang and she picked it up in an instant. She put it against her ear and spoke into it. "Hey babe," she said.

"Hey Katie Kat." the person on the other phone said.

"So how have you been?" Katie asked as she walked outside. Seeing as now was her off-hour she liked to spend her time off in the small garden behind the school. 

"I'm good... but I've missed you."

"I missed you too Travis," she said sighing into the phone. "At least I can see you later this week."

"Yeah..." he said with a sigh. "How have your classes been?"

"Good. I love the AP Earth Science I'm taking. It's easy since I basically know everything cause of my mom." 

"Yeah..." there was silence for a little while. "Hey!" he said startling him.

"What?"

"Guess what happened with your sister." Katie jumped up to her feet and pretty much yelled into the screen.

"What!? What happened Stoll!"

"Calm down Darlin' she's fine. She got a boyfriend."

"Hold on a second, Miranda? Does she have a boyfriend? Whom?" Still frantic she sat back down.

He laughed, a sound Katie loves to hear. "Yes, Miranda, yes she does have a boyfriend. Guess who."

"Johnathan from the Apollo Cabin?"

"Nope."

"Andrew from the Apollo Cabin?"

"Nope."

"Cameron from the Apollo Cabin?"

"What is it with her and the Apollo cabin?" he asked exasperated. 

Katie laughed. "I'm teasing. Did Conner finally get balls to ask her out."

"How'd you know it was Conner?"
