Rachel was on her way to class when a dude ran into her. It was the second time someone had ran into her that day.
"Hey!" She yelled, her books clattered to the floor. "Watch it mortal!"
"I'm so sorry." the kid said. "I didn't mean to. I was just hiding from someone. Here let me help."
Rachel was irritated."No. I can manage Mortal."
The boy laughed. "As if your Immortal."
"Who are you again?"
"Chad, gotta run." and he ran just like the last time.
"Okay... what kind of name is Chad Gotta Run."
Later the kid was running in the halls again. Then just like last time, he ran into the red-headed girl. "Dude! What the Hades is wrong with you?!"
"What? Hades?"
"Shit sorry mortal. I mean Chad Gotta Run. Besides who or what are you running from?"
"Um you wouldn't believe me," he said nervously.
"Try my mor- Chad."
"Why do you keep calling me mortal. Aren't you?"
"Technically yes," she murmured. "Well, you're a mortal so..."
"okay.. well I was running from a weird looking thing. It was Human but not quite human." Rachel listens with intensity. "It was big with sunglasses on but it looked like it had one eye and it kept staring at me. Then it started following me. So I ran."
Rachel nodded at his story. She kept her dagger with her at all times. The oracle of Delphi still needs protection at times. "Where is he now?"
"Um, I think in the cafeteria. He stopped coming after me stopping at the lunchroom."
She nodded and began to walk towards the cyclops. "Follow me, Mortal," she said to Chad.
The monster was still there. His head bolted up as they walked into the room.
"Oh, how good. A demigod and the oracle. What a meal." The monster grew in size.
"What is that?" asked Chad.
"Everyone out!" yelled the Oracle.
"Dude you have to run too," Chad said.
"No.," she said. "Oh, the great and awesome Apollo please guide your oracle to safety."
Green mist envolked around Rachel as the spirit helped her fight.

She raised her dagger and charged at the monster. The cyclops raised his club and tried to swing at her. She dodged and rolled. Chad was hiding under the table waiting for the battle to be over. she pulled out her blue hairbrush and shot it at him. It distracted him as she then stabbed him in the heart and he exploded into golden dust.
The mist resided and she dropped to the ground with a light plop. "You. Come. With. Me." Rachel said between breaths. "Who-What are you?" Asked Chad. "Rachel Elizabeth Dare Oracle of Delphi. Or Oracle of Apollo." "Oracle? Apollo?" "Yeah Greek myths and Roman and Egyptian myths. There all real. Blah blah blah. Mist covers mortal eyes from seeing monsters. Blah blah. Anyway time to go. There's a special place for people like us." "Um.... Okay." Chad said. "Whoes my parent?" "Depends. Do u still have ur mother or father?" "Um. My mother." "Then I think your Father is Ares. Just by the looks. But I could be wrong. Or Hermes." Rachel drove Chad to camp as he kept pestering her about questions. She abhorred the questions but hastily replied. They passed the boarder greeted by Chiron who she had called on the way. "All hail Chad Gotta Run son of Dionysus?!" Rachel had said confused. "Ah blessed by Ares." "Its Chad Ortiz." Said the Boy. Rachel just shrugged and walked to her cave. Welp. She thought. What a great day.
