Zach had to go to studio so I started planning the dinner. I wanted to make some of it together so it would be special. I was half way through it when Zach came home. "What smells good?" He quizzed as he walked into the kitchen. "Dinner smells good. I'm making salmon with spring pasta," I answered. "Sounds tasty. I'll go get a shower and I'll be back down," Zach told me before I heard him running upstairs.
I felt like playing some music so I put on Melanie Martinez's new album. The album played strawberry shortcake and I couldn't help singing along. "Feeling unsure of my naked body," I sang as I stirred the pasta," Stand back watch it taking shape." I checked the salmon and started singing more. "Got boys acting like they ain't see skin before, get sent home from school cuz my skirt was to short," I continued. I hummed half the chorus. "It's my bad, it's my bad no one taught them not to grab. Now the boys want a taste of this strawberry shortcake," I span into Zach's arms. He smiled at me and I smirked back. "So, I'm stuffing my bra so that mine look the best," I danced with him as he watched. He kept laughing as I danced and sang. "Ok crazy, I'll take over the food," He laughed. I sat on the counter and sang along to the songs.
The dinner was ready so we sat at the table. "What was that song you were singing?" Zach questioned. "Oh, strawberry shortcake. I love it so much," I replied. "Nice dance moves by the way," He joked. "It's an amazing album! A movie came with and she wrote it all herself," I informed him. "She's talented then," He commented as he took a bite of the food. We ate our food and then went into the living room. "Do you have this movie then?" Zach queried. "No, but it's on YouTube for free!" I smiled. I knew what he was thinking so I started to search up the movie. "I guess we're watching it?" He smiled. I nodded my head and connected my phone to the tv. I started singing along to the principal and did the choreography. Zach kept laughing at me whilst trying to concentrate on the movie. When it finished, I couldn't stop smiling. "I love that movie," I beamed. "I love our movie."
