"wesley baby." you get your little mans attention.
"yes momma?" he answered back.
"can i have tatum back for a few minutes to feed her. you can cuddle her again after that?" you ask him.
"but momma, me love sissy." he says.
"oh honey, i know you do but she needs to eat something." you say.
"she can have my nanaer." he says proudly.
"baby, she can't eat normal food. she needs milk." you state.
"wesley baby, how about me and you go down to the cafeteria and get something to eat while momma feeds baby?" luke asks.
"oh okay. i ungry." he states while letting luke take tatum from him.
luke hands tatum to you and then the both of them left to go get food. and you breastfed tatum.
"baby girl, i know you're only a day old but you already have so much love on this earth and we are so happy to have you here. your older brother loves you more than anything and i wish it would be like that forever my sweets." you say to her as if she can reply.
15 minutes later.
you've been snuggling tatum for 10 minutes since you breast-fed her and you've been enjoying the skin to skin moment until the two boys in your life came waltzing in and wesley asked to hold her again.
"momma PWEASE." he begins to shout.
"the only way you can hold her is if you don't use that tone of voice with me again." you say to him.
"otay momma. i won't. now pwease hold." he says while sitting in his chair and waiting for luke to put her in his arms.
"awe, my baby and my big boy." i say.
and as you were watching them both together luke came over towards you and sat next to you on the bed.
"we make some good kids don't we?" luke says.
"we sure do." you say back while giving him a kiss.
"EW DADDY SHE GOT GIRL COOTIES." wesley shouts and tatum starts crying.
"wesley what did i just say?" you say before luke takes her back in his arms and rocks her back to sleep.
"oh no, i sorry momma i didn't mean to promise. pwease i be good boy gain." he says with tears starting to form in his eyes.
"awe big boy, come here." you tell him.
and he walks towards you with shame and just stands next to your bed.
"come give momma a snuggle." you say before you have him up by your side and you just give your little man all the snuggles as you watch luke rock tatum back to sleep.
"i love you little man with all my heart." you say as you start rubbing his arms so he can fall asleep.
10 minutes later and you got 2 sleeping babies as you and luke just look at each other with so much love that you both knew it was because you have created life for this earth.
