Daris L/n was unhappy, though, what else was new? Upon the floor of his living room he sat, dark blue cloak fitted over his shoulders and a poorly made dragon mask resting upon his face. The room itself had been decorated about an hour before, curtains draping over the doorway and ceiling as well as a makeshift pillow castle standing proud in the middle of what Gregor had called, his "Masterpiece". Within the hollow eyed boy's lap bounced tiny Helen excitedly, her eyes sparkling with the imaginative world she had created. Of course one more thing was still to be introduced, and here he came, golden cloak trailing behind him in all its shiny majesty. There, at the other side of the living room stood Gregor, makeshift sword in hand as he let Daris see that shit eating grin of his.

"Princess!" Gregor yelled out, his eyes sparkling with a triumphant atmosphere.

With her e/c orbs following her brother's every movement, Helen let out a giggle, her plastic crown shaking slightly with the bobbing of her tiny head.

      "Your valiant knight is here!"

Gregor put a hand on his heart, his fake armor pressing hard against his toned chest. With his other appendage and all the charm he could muster, Gregor pulled a singular rose form out of nowhere and pointed it towards the young girl.

"In my many days and service as a knight I swear that I have never seen a flower as pretty as you. Your glow reaches the many hearts of the kingdom princess, from the grandiose and great me, to the foul creature we see before you!"

Daris snorted, the air seemed to be packed and bursting with his brother's flamboyant attitude. A finger, long and piercing, pointed towards Daris, inciting an amused rawr to slip from his pale lips.

"Oh no!" Helen cried out, her shiny silver dress sparkling and ruffling as she put her hands on her cheeks.

"Fear not princess! Brave knight Gregor will save you!" He unsheathes the fake sword at his hip, its blade aiming straight at the beast's (Daris's) heart.

Gregor puffs his chest out, a sparkle forming in his eyes.

        "Have at thee, detestable creature!"

A sigh, loud as a storm dragged itself from Daris's chest. Carefully he pulled Helen upon onto the tower and put his arms out. Gregor could almost make out the twitch in his eye from where he stood.

"You can never defeat me, the princess will be mine."

Gregor ran up, his feet hitting the carpet that squeaked and groaned under his touch. His sword clashed with the "creature's" claws. With each hit, Helen yelped and jumped, her little mind adding tension to each clash of the two. Leaning in, Gregor whispered inside of Daris's ear.

"Hey, put a little more feeling into it. This is for her you know."

Daris huffed, his eyes turning away from his brother's, though after looking down at Helen, he soon started to fit the role.

        "Ha! You're approaching me knight?"

        "Handsome knight," Gregor interrupted.

        Daris rolled his eyes.

"Handsome knight Gregor! Foolish of you to think you'd be able to defeat me, the dark lord Gregor L/n!" He shouted triumphantly into the air, arms flailing like a bat from hell.

Daris raised an eyebrow, his attention going to the foot that Gregor had angrily been tapping. One arm crossed with the other, his sword drooping downward as he fixed Daris with a moody frown. Helen, whom had still been situated safely atop her tower, seemed to voice her displeasure with the moody man.
