The next day, things were completely awkward between Tobi and me.
"You aren't supposed to hold it like that." Tobi sighed and positioned my hands on the sword. I blushed when our hands made contact. "This is how you swing it." He took a different sword and swung it in the air with such grace. "Now you try."
I tried to swing it and failed miserably.
"Try again." He swung it again, slower this time though. I lifted up the sword again, and managed to chop the head off of a nearby dummy. "That's great, but not how you're supposed to hold it."
Tobi repositioned the sword, even though I hadn't even moved it.
"You swing it like this." He held my the sword with me while he started moving around, thrashing it. I couldn't help but think he was doing this on purpose.
"I can do it by myself you know." I huffed.
"If you could do it, I wouldn't be helping you." Tobi crossed his arms over his chest.
"Just shut up," I swung it by myself and hoped to do it perfectly. "See I can do it perfectly." I dropped the weapon and flipped my hair over my shoulder before strutting away.
I walked to my room and dropped on my bed. I had a bunch to think about. I marched over to Deidara's room to ask if I could borrow his clay. I pretty much adored his art.
"Deitard, can I..." I opened the door and..."Oh my freaking god! You guys are doing the nasty! My virgin eyes!" I shouted, covering my eyes. My best friend and Dei were making out in his room.
"Relax Miki, we weren't doing anything wrong." Deidara smirked. "It's not like I didn't see what you and Tobi did last night." My face flushed a thousands shades of red.
"Can I just borrow your clay." I mumbled, looking at the pattern of the floor.
"No, it's mine, get out." Dei shooed me off and locked the door.
I trudged into the kitchen and opened up the fridge.
"There's nothing in there." Sasori popped up out of no where. "Itachi hasn't gone grocery shopping yet. He is about to leave now, you can go with him if you want." I stared at the door and saw Itachi opening it.
"Wait, Itachi! I'm going with you!" I shouted, dashing to the front door. He stared at me with blank eyes.
"If you can keep up." We went outside. This was a tree house! Itachi immediately started jumping to through the trees. We were really high of the ground
I jumped up on one and starting going slowly to another one. Itachi was no where in my sight when I managed to look up.
"Itachi!" I called out. No response. "Itachi!" I shouted louder. Still no answer. I jumped to the next tree branch. I didn't make it and started falling to the ground. I screamed bloody murder. I said my last wishes and hoped I wouldn't die. I waited to hit the ground, but I never did.
"Miki, you can open your eyes now." A voice spoke. I was opened one eye and saw one I was being handled by someone in a cloak.
I looked up and saw my masked friend. "Tobi? What are you doing out here?" I scolded.
"Saving my clumsy...friend." He whispered the end.
"You don't have to!" I wriggled out of his grip and backed up to the trunk of the tree.
"You would've fallen and killed yourself if I hadn't." Tobi mumbled.
"Still, just leave my alone." I muttered before jumping tree through tree until I reached the hideout.
I stomped to my room and shut the door. I sighed. Why was I getting so frustrated? I shook my head and went to lie on my bed.
The door creaked open and Tobi walked in. He sat on a chair next to my bed.
"Miki, come on, just listen." Tobi shook me.
"No." I mumbled.
"Listen, about last night. It meant nothing." Tobi said. "There's no chance we can be together. There is a large age difference, it's never going to work out. Just...forget everything about last night." Tobi shook his head. He got up and left me alone in my room.
About a couple hours later, Hidan walked in.
"Brat, get up!" Hidan pulled me by the collar of my shirt up effortlessly. "Go change into this." He shoved a cloak that looked exactly like his.
"Kay." I walked into the bathroom and changed into it. I despised how long it was and cut it knee length. The Collar bugged me do I made it shorter. I loved the sleeves though.
I walked out of the bathroom and Hidan wasn't there anymore. I walked outside and sat on a bench that was there.
Lunae sat next to me and Lupin on the other.
"I don't like this." I whispered.
"Come on! This is cool!" Lupin shouted in joy.
"I guess it's pretty cool." Lunae smiled.
"I miss everyone else. I want everything to back to normal before I ever got these siblings and this started happening." I whined.
"Come on," Lupin said. "I'll show you this is better."
"Whatever, I'm going back in." I sat in front of the television and flipped through shows until Hidan came back and joined me.
"Give me the fucking remote!" He shouted a snatched the remote from me. I didn't complain, I just went along with it.
"Dude, something is wrong with you, you are not complaining." Hidan said.
"Does it bug you?"
"Hell yeah! I'm used to you being a bitch, it pisses me off when you aren't" Hidan mumbled.
"I'm going to bed." I was about to get up when Hidan pulled me back down.
"I know I'm going to regret this later on, but I might as well get I might as well get it over with. What's wrong?" Hidan's expression slightly softened
"I don't feel like talking about it." I mumbled.
"Miki!" Hidan yelled.
"Don't be so pushy. I just have a lot on my mind." I mumbled. "I don't like change." I whispered.
"You wouldn't be here if it weren't for the fact your mom screwed around with Pain."
"What?" I half asked, half yelled. "My dad is dead!"
"No, you're dad is Pain." Hidan twirled a strand of my hair with his index finger.
"You've got to be kidding me." I slapped my forehead with my hand. "I've got to go talk to hi." I stood up and walked over to Pain's office.
