I sat on a branch of a tree playing with my now orange hair.
"It looks good on you." Lunae tried to get me to cheer up. But I wasn't, my long chocolate brown hair was now the color of a plump orange.
"I know it does, but I don't like it." I twirled a strand of my hair. I jumped off the tree to the ground with my friends.
"Hey, maybe we need some girl time. It's been so long since we last went out just like friends. Maybe that's what we need." Lupin suggested. We've been getting depressed after realizing we would be locked up in the hideout for who knows how long.
"Yeah." I said, "Near the hospital is a pizzeria. Maybe we can eat there?" I asked.
"Sounds like a plan." Lunae said.
"I'm a go ask Pain! I'll be right back!" I ran inside the hideout to find Pain.
"Pain! I'm going out with Lunae and Lupin! We'll be back by nightfall!" Pain shouted a response I couldn't quite understand. "Bye!" I replied. I walked over to Lupin's, Lunae's and my room and quickly brought clothes for us to change into. I changed into mine in less than a couple of minutes.
I ran outside and tossed them their clothes.
"Where are you guys going?" Deidara popped up behind us.
"G.N.O." I said.
"What?" Deidara raised an eyebrow.
"Girls night out. No boys." I pulled my hair up into pigtails. "We are suffocating in here, we need alone time." I straitened my bangs and remembered that they weren't brown and highlighted black anymore. I smile faltered.
"Just be careful, it's going to get dark soon and it's not safe." Deidara said skeptically.
"We will be fine!" Lupin whined. She pushed Deidara away and we began climbing up the trees.
We quickly arrived there. Lupin and Lunae changed clothes and hid their cloaks in the leaves.
We walked to the pizza place. We were greeted by the delightful smell of pizzas when we entered.
Families scattered the entire area. They seemed to be having a good time. We sat discreetly in a corner that was hidden from view.
"What do you guys want?" I asked, pulling out some money.
"Queso!" Lupin and Lunae said in unison. I loved to hear their white girl accent while they spoke Spanish. It was supposed to aggravate me since I was Latino, but it didn't
"I'll be right back." I walked up to the cashier and waited in line for my turn to order.
"Miki?" I turned around, expecting to find Lupin at my side, but it wasn't. Kiba stood their, wide eyed. "You've been missing for so long! Why?" Kiba hada grip on my shoulder.
"I haven't been missing. I've been..." Was I going to tell him about the Akatsuki? No, of course not! I wasn't going to risk loosing my friends. ...on vacation with my grandparents." Yeah that works, guess.
"Really? I would've thought you would've told me, I mean..." Kiba scratched his head. "We are friends aren't we?"
"Of course," I said. "We have for a while now."
"Then can I ask you why your hair is orange?" Kiba smiled.
"Oh, I thought I needed a change so I dyed it." I lied smoothly.
"Cool, it suits you."
*~*Tobi's POV*~*
Pain had sent me to go spy on his daughter. I couldn't actually believe it when Pain told me he was the father of my girl. They don't even look alike.
