It was a cold winter morning, mid December. I'm glad to be inside cuddled up in a warm blanket with the heating on and watching the snow fall onto the white ground. I think about lots of things just as Joe enters the room with a steaming hot chocolate.
"Are you ok?" he asked
"Yeah, I'm just thinking"
"About?"
"About us, about how much we want a baby but we haven't been able to conceive. It's not helping me to stay positive because you know how I've always wanted to be a mom"
"I know, but maybe we'll get a Christmas miracle?" Joe joked
I didn't find it much of a joke though. I've always wanted to be a mom and although a Christmas miracle would be lovely, I doubt it'll happen. I sip my hot chocolate and begin to think about the possibility of a Christmas miracle.
I am due to take a pregnancy test on December 20th. It could either make Christmas extra special or spoil it for Joe and I.
