Once we walked through the doors to the house it was everything I imagined it would be homely. Once I walked in all the guys stooped and stared. There was Dallas and the broad shoulder man and the others I waited on earlier. Johnny immediately started.

"This is Darrel you can call him Darry this is Steve this is Sodapop we call him Soda this is Keith we call him Two Bit and this is Dallas we call him Dally"

I smiled at the names. All the boys waved so I waved back once I didn't say anything Johnny did it for me.

"This is Ashlyn guys were doing a project about each other and who they really are"

He said. I gave him a smile.

"You know you have a really pretty smile so stop hiding it"

Soda stated. I blushed and tried not to smile but I let in and he chuckled. Johnny motioned towards the couch for me to sit and I took the offer. I sat down in the middle and Johnny sat next to me. Once I looked at Dally I noticed he was giving me elevator eyes checking me up and down. I turned away when he noticed me looking. He got up and sat down next to me in the empty space. He put his ad, over the couch around me.

"So baby wanna head to the nightly double sometime?"

He said all flirtatious.

"Uh No thanks"

I said. I knew what trouble Dallas was.

"Alright your missing out then"

He stated and got up. I looked at the boys. Darry was in his chair Soda Steve and Two Bit were sat in a circle on the floor. Pony was leaning against the wall next to Darry with Johnny by his side I didn't realize he moved. I smiled at them all intrigued with each other. I noticed I had my camera on me. I stood up and walked over to the end of the room. None of them noticed me and I took a picture of them. All the pictures I had of them all ready this was the best of all because this was the first time I realized none of the hoods in town are actual hoods they only have that image for survival. They looked so cute together. Johnny joined me by my side.

"Documenting"

He said. I looked at him and smiled.

"Just a little"

I said and he smiled himself.

"I'm not really shy you know"

He said. I gave him a confused look.

"I just keep myself invisible outside because of those Soc.'s they got me once and it wasn't good but I'm better now. What I want to know is why your shy."

He whispered lightly to me.

"My mom she died about a year ago and my dad beats me I really don't need these glasses but he mostly beats me when he sees my eyes there just like my moms"

I responded to him. He looked shocked.

"My parents beat me to and just so you know you father isn't here"

I smiled then blushed.

"I promise nothing will happen to you here"

He said. I looked up to his beautiful brown eyes again. He gave me a light smile and started to pull my glasses off. Once they were off he looked at me and smiled.

"Wow"

He said. I blued like mad and hid my face again. He grabbed my chin and moved my head so I would gave him.

"You have beautiful eyes"

He said. I smiled.

"Thanks"

That was the first time any boy even tried to compliment me and I liked it. We stared at each other until we heard the boys yell and break us put of our trance.

"Guys let's head to the nightly double!"

Steve yelled. The boys jumped up in agreement. Johnny looked at me for approval and I nodded.
