~Chapter 9~

Soon it reached Tuesday Johnny was super worried about me I spent all week getting ready for them. Today was finally the day. The second I woke up and got dressed I sat on the porch. He would be here soon. Johnny came out and sat next to me I was shaking.
"Oh baby what are you so worried about?"
He asked wrapping his comforting arm around me.
"What if he changed? What if he doesn't recognize me?"
He chuckled at my thoughts.
"He will remember you I promise"
He said. I smiled and looked at him. I was doing good I had done two whole days without my glasses. He smiled.
"God I love your eyes"
He said. I giggled then he pulled me closer to him. I gave him a peck on the cheek. He looked at me giving me a sly smirk. I gave him an evilish look then kissed him flat on the lips. I snuggled up to him once he was done. Then I heard honking. I looked and it was the same car Eric left in the last day I saw him. I stood up waiting to make sure. Then I saw a tall muscular man step out of the car. Once he turned a smile spread across the mans face. I felt tears run down my cheeks.
"Ashlyn?"
He asked. I exploded I ran to him he pulled me into a hug he picked me up and spun me around. Once he set me down he cupped my face with his hands.
"God you look just like mom"
He said. I smiled and he gave me a giant kiss on the cheek. Johnny finally stood up and joined me by my side.
"Hi I'm Johnny"
He said holding his hand out to Eric. Eric accepted the offer.
"Hi I'm Eric"
He said back I was glad I could tell he liked Johnny.
"So I have heard you mine as well meet the rest of us, I might warn you some of them are well a little crazy"
Johnny said giving him a fake warning. He laughed.
"I'm sure. oh wait one second"
Eric answered I turned to see where he was looking. A beautiful girl with long blonde hair and glasses just a little bit thinner then mine.
"Hi I'm Jess you must be Ashlyn"
She said all perky.
"Yes that's me"
I said. She smiled.
"I can defiantly see the family resemblance"
She said giggling I gave her a smile. Eric wrapped his arm around her waist.
"This is my fiancé Jessica"
He said. I nodded.
"I think I noticed that"
I said. He gave me am oh no I didn't know that look and we went inside the house. I walked through the door first.
"Look who finally came inside!"
Two bit shouted. I laughed.
"Wow she is alive"
Steve said picking me up and spinning me around.
"Stop! stop! I want you guys to meet my brother"
I yelled rough me outbursts of laughter. He set me down and everyone was inside now.
"This is Steve, Two bit, Soda, Pony, Darry, and Dally"
I said pointing each boy out. Eric lifted his hand to wave with the other stuffed in his pocket.
"Guys this is Eric and his fiancé Jessica"
I said introducing them. Jessica gave a little hi and a little wave as if they were all 3 years old. I honestly didn't know what I thought of her.
"Hey babe?"
Johnny asked. I turned to him.
"Yes"
"I'm gonna head home to grab some things be back later"
He said then planted a kiss on my lips.
"Ok be careful"
I said giving him a wave out the door. I was going to say I love you but this was literally the third day in our relationship. I thought it was going really well we bombed our presentation and it wasn't as bad as I thought we both got A+'s for learning so much about each other. As I thought Eric struck up a conversation with Steve I turned to see Darry hiding his face Eric must of not noticed him yet. I went and plopped down on the couch next to him. I gave him a sly smile when he looked at me.
"Hey Eric have you met Darry yet"
I said completely interrupting him. He turned and Darry stood up. Once Darry lifted his head a look of shock grew upon his face.
"Darrel?"
I heard him slip out. Darry laughed.
"Yah"
He said. Eric came up to him and did that stupid bro hug thing and started a conversation up about foot ball and how they have been blah blah blah the usual. I went over to Jessica.
"I'm going to head to bed I have school tomorrow can you tell Eric I love him and I will try to meet up with him after school?"
I asked her. She turned to me and nodded.
"Hey um do you want to go shopping with me after school tomorrow I know you don't have a lot and it would be good to get to know each toner Eric never shits up about you he has pictures everywhere of you two doing things growing up"
She said. I giggled.
"Two years away from each toner has been way to long, sure do you want to pick me up from school tomorrow?"
I asked. She nodded and just like that I went to bed.
