Jenny's POV
I yawned softly as I drove through the morning traffic, occasionally stopping at the traffic lights. I decided to grab my flask where my mom had poured some coffee for me to help me thoroughly wake up, I don't know why but for some reason I didn't sleep well last night.
As I sip from my flask, I bob my head to the pop music playing from my car, Portia's radio, who is my beautiful pink Porsche Panamera that my parents got for me last year on my sixteenth birthday. Ten minutes later I pull up to the schools parking lot.
After checking myself in the overhead mirror, I turn off the ignition, grab my handbag and step out of my car. I glance around at the school's entrance, trying to locate Calum or at least my useless friends but neither of them seem to be outside. Actually, I look again and sigh in relief when I spot Melanie walking towards me with a smile plastered on her face.
"About time," I grumble to myself and use the car's remote to lock it. "Hey Jen," Melanie says in her annoying high pitched voice. "Where are the others?" I ask her without bothering to greet her. "Caitlyn's talking to Jace out back, Calum's in class and the others aren't here yet," Melanie reports. I purse my lips and give her my handbag to hold.
Just as we're about to get in the main door, I remember that I forgot my purse in the glove compartment and I could use a snack before school starts anyway. "Ugh, I'll catch up, I forgot my purse," I tell Melanie and walk back to my car.
I decide to walk faster when I hear the bell ring, god, the last thing I need when I'm half asleep is to be yelled at by Principal Carter for being late for assembly. It's already been a tough few weeks for me and it couldn't get any worse. When I'm less than a few inches away from Portia, I click on my remote to open the car, but the last thing I hear before I'm sent flying into the air, is a deafening blast and I watch my baby go up in flames as I crash to the floor and every thing turns black.

Tameron's POV
I was packing up my copy of Iron House by John Hart when suddenly I hear the loudest sound I've ever heard in all my short life. I immediately scream in horror when I see Jenny's car explode into flames and it's owner falling to the ground. Upon hearing the sound of the blast, the entire student body panics and everyone is screaming and running around like headless chickens.
"Somebody get help!" I yell as I run towards an unconscious Jennifer Bolton. "Hurry!" I scream. I spot one of the students running inside the premises to do my bidding and I crouch down next to Jenny. Using all my might, I half carry and half drag her out to the lawn, where it's furthest from her burning pink car.
What the hell just happened? Every one gathers around Jenny and I in shock. Using my first aid skills, I check for any signs of consciousness, I sigh in relief when I feel her breathing. A gash of blood runs from the left side of her face, probably caused by the impact of the explosion. "Who would do such a thing?" I hear someone mumble from the crowd.
Seconds later, a few of the school's teaching staff including the principal runs towards us, pushing past the students. "What happened?" Principal Carter stares at me with wide eyes while Miss Clark takes over from me with keeping an eye on Jenny. "I don't know, the car... It blew up all of a sudden, just before she could open the door and she fell on her head from the impact," I tell him in a frantic manner.
Another minor but loud blast goes off from the wreckage of the toasted car and a few students yelp in fear. "Did you call an ambulance?" I ask the boy that went to alert the staff. He nods at me. I spot Elle and Taylor rushing towards me. "What the hell just happened?" Elle looks mortified when she looks at what's left of Jenny's expensive ride.
"I don't know, it happened so fast," I shake my head at her. Taylor gives me a quick and worried once over. "Are you alright Tam, you're not hurt?" He asks me, panicking. "I'm fine Taylor, thank God," I tell him and he pulls me into a bear hug, sighing in relief. While I'm still in his comforting embrace, I hear the ambulance coming through the the main gate of the school.
"Alright everyone, please back up and let the professionals work," Principal Carter says as the paramedics jump out of the ambulance and attend to Jenny. The principal and Miss Clark talk with one of the paramedics while the other two carry Jenny in a strecher to the back of the ambulance.
"Please go back to class, Miss Bolton will be alright," Principal Carter says and I watch as Miss Clark gets in the ambulance with the paramedics and soon enough, the ambulance speeds through the the gate. The students reluctantly shuffle back to class. Taylor gets my bag for me, which was still left idle on the bench, and together with Elle, we make our way back to class, just as we hear the police sirens sounding behind us.
While everyone is going back to class, I turn around to find Principal Carter shaking his head in disbelief as he bends down on the ground and picks up what looks like a piece of paper. He unfolds it and seems to be reading it. Instantly, I feel my body go limp.
You've got to be kidding me.
This is no longer a silly little juvenile game, shit just got real. Whoever the Noted Prankster is, they don't want to embarrass Jenny, they just tried to kill her.
