It has been ruled off as the nastiest "prank" in St Peter's High history, therefore the school has officially involved the police and an investigation as to who bombed Jenny's car are underway. The perpetrator of this crime would be caught and would face the long arm of the law.

Listening to Principal Carter's statement over the the intercom gives me a sense of dread. This is no joke, whoever the culprit is, they have a serious score they want to settle with Jenny. "Like, it's not even funny anymore," I hear one of the guys in my class say. "Yeah, in a way, the net is tightening for Jenny," Someone else adds.

"This is getting way out of hand," Elle comments. "I've never liked her, but seeing her like that yesterday, lying on the floor, it really made me feel sympathy for her, whatever our differences, she does not deserve what happened," I agree with her.

Elle sighs and continues with writing her English notes. "But what you did yesterday, that was very mature and brave of you fam," Elle says. I don't respond but instead continue with writing my notes as well.

This morning just before giving the whole school a lecture, Principal Carter confirmed that Jennifer was indeed okay, but would be in hospital for the next few days. The entire scandal of the Noted Prankster has been trending among the school's students but now that things got heated up (literally), the whole shebang has gone viral to the point that the whole town knows about it.

Taylor slips onto the seat next to me. "Hey Tam," He smiles at me. "Taylor... Hi, sorry I was spacing out again," I tell him. "You still look shaken up by yesterday's events, are you sure you're okay because I'm here if you need anything, you know this," Taylor says sincerely.

I give him a small smile as a sign of gratitude. "For the hundredth time, I'm okay," I tell him. "I'm going to the ladies for a sec," Elle tells us she excuses herself. "I hope you are," Taylor responds to what I tell him. I look over at him and notice how fidgety he is today, like he's nervous or something.

"Gosh babe I'm fine, relax," I assure him. Taylor shakes his head at me. "No, I get that, it's just..."
"What?" I ask him.
"Uhm, so, my mom may have bullied me into telling her about us-"
"Taylor!" I gasp.
"Nothing's wrong with her knowing I swear, she's not like your dad," Taylor clarifies and I breathe out in relief.

"Oh, so what's up?"
Taylor shrugs at me with an apologetic look crossing his face. Why is he stalling? "My parents want to meet you, so they told me to invite you over for dinner this Saturday evening," Taylor tells me and I feel my heart beat faster. "Meet me? But they already know who I am," I respond.

"I know, my mom was yapping about how she wants to get to know you better now that you're my girlfriend, I'm sorry, she's just very nosy and shit that it's hard to hide anything from her," Taylor explains and I can't help but giggle at how exasperated he sounds with her.

"It's okay, I'll be there," I assure him and he visibly sighs in relief when he notices that I'm not uncomfortable with the idea. Sure I'm a little nervous but, at least I've met with the Brown family before even though I was just his friend back then.

"Thanks babe, I'll call you over the weekend to discuss when I can pick you up?" He asks me and I nod in agreement.

After school, my mother, David and I are sitting in the living room, watching him watch his cartoons. "Be a darling Tameron and get me some more grapes from the fridge," Karen hands me her saucer and I stand up to do so.

After getting them for her, I rejoin her on the couch. Davids rolls over in laughter as he interacts with the TV. "How are you holding up though, given the drama that's been happening at your school lately?" She asks me. "I just go through the motions, but Jenny's car being bombed just had me a little over the edge for a while," I tell her.

"Oh honey, I'm sorry you had to go through that," Karen gives me a sympathetic smile. "It's okay now, I just hope Jenny's fine, because I'd be pretty freaked out if I'd survived something like that," I sigh as I scroll through my Instagram feed.

"Luckily for you, I have something to cheer you up," My mom smiles at me as she hands a white envelope. "What's this?" I frown at her. "Something came in the mail for you today," Karen says excitedly. The seal's open, meaning she probably knows what's inside it, which explains why shes grinning at me.

I open the envelope and flip open the mail. I quickly skim over it at my eyes widen as I read a particular line, "We are happy to in from you that you've been given provisional acceptance into the Global Business University!" I read in excitement. Karen claps her hands happily and I squeal in joy.

"Mom, I'm going to GBU!" I smile widely. "Yes, you are and I'm so proud of you," Karen hugs me. Wow, I can't believe I'm a year and a half away from going to varsity. This news couldn't have come at a better time. Suddenly a ghastly smell crosses the living room, Karen and I look at David on first instinct and then back at each other in dread.

David stands up and smiles at us innocently. "Uh oh, I poo poo," He says and I can't help but laugh at his honesty. My mom on the other hand groans but gets up and picks my little brother up. She smells his diaper for confirmation and I watch as her facial features scrunch up at the proximity of the smell. "When will you be able to use the potty, so I can be freed from this torture?" My mom says dramatically and I chuckle as she walks upstairs with him.
