They walked and walked until it seemed to be nightfall. They were all beginning to feel woozy and wobbly, they decided to wait until they were all really hungry so they wouldn't have to waste food, "We should set camp for the night." the bold man stated as he plopped on the floor. The others did the same. They set camp on the side of the road near the looming trees. They sat in a circle and started a small campfire.

"Chicken or rabbit stew?"

"I'd eat the veggies first."

"So the chicken?"

"No."

"Can't we all just relax and have both?"

"No, then it would be a waste! Why am I even worrying, I won't be here long."

Jolly just stared at the campfire as the others argued about food. He then took a closer look at his fellow adventurers since he was travelling with them anyways. The guard (Bill) was about the size of a small giant (basically two tall people stacked on top of each other), he had silver armor with a bit of tainted red, which were most likely from the blood of his enemies, he had a long brown beard sticking out like the bushes in the forest, he had his short round hair black like oil and eyes blue like diamond. The bold man who was sitting besides Bill and in front of Jolly had hair of gold, he stood tall, taller than Jolly or the mailman (Bill remained the tallest), his skin a bit tanned from the brightening sun, he had green eyes like emerald, and torn clothes with scratch marks all over. The mailman fell asleep on the ground besides Jolly holding his gray hat, he was about in his older teen years. His hair had a mix of black and red, he wore a brown shirt with a red tie and dark green pants, he was as ordinary as any boy can get, and in his top right pocket there was the letter. Soon later he also fell asleep.

The moment they woke up, they all felt even more hungry since they argued so much, they didn't even have dinner, so they had breakfast (they all decided to eat the pig meat first). Their bags were still filled and their bellies were all full, so they got back on their feet, "H-hey Jelly?" the mailman asked hesitantly. Jolly just turned his head, "Hm?"

"Well, if you were wondering, you can call me Chirpy, but they call me Chirp." Chirpy stopped to take out something from his bag, "I totally forgot to give this to you yesterday, I believe it's a birthday gift. Your aunt told me to give it to you since she knew you weren't going to accept it from her." he gave Jolly the present aunt Kindy was running with, "You do know that they care about you right? Why are you always so distant?" Chirpy sighed.

"No, the whole town thinks I'm some crazy hag that lives alone who believes in fairy tales. I'm pretty sure they wanted me out the second I entered their stupid house, and apparently everything bad that has happened, happened because of me...including the dragon that took everything. So there's your answer." Jolly wistfully responded.

Chirpy patted him on the back, "It's not all your fault."

"That's surely a sad story Mr. Jolly, but I! Kelv Eve! Shall restore your sorrow, with a song! Actually made it myself a minute ago." the bold man Kelv, started to sing.

"We shall go on and on and on and on, we shall feast upon, upon, upon.

We soak through the valleys of mountains, find the sea near the fountain

We seek and speak and sing the way, we freak and squeak and bring the day!

We make, we break, we fight snakes the way. We wake, we ache, we had a good steak,

we shall go on and on and on the way!"

So, down the path they continued, for days and days they have traveled and nothing has really changed, but it felt as if something was watching them in the dark forest. Once, Jolly glanced at the trees and heard lots of shuffling, another time, Kelv started to play his flute and they heard even more shuffling in the forest, at one point they even heard splashes in the water, but they assumed it was the wind and moved on.
