Jolly woke up, still frightened by the thought of the big event, was called up to the light tower. Once he had arrived, the King applauded him. Chirpy was also called in by the King, alongside with the Prince. The King promised it was very important and had to be secret.
"Ah yes, very well, since you have all arrived, we can finally commence."
"How long will this be, I've been waiting for some action." Lolover eagerly asked, rubbing his hands.
"You need patience. All i'm asking you adventurers to do, is a little quest." the King said, comfortably sitting back on his throne.
"Quest?" Chirpy asked.
"Well, if you stay you've got to participate, but this quest is simply about rescuing the princess in the mountain, you must do it by tomorrow or who knows what'll happen."
"And you want just us three to do it?" Jolly questioned.
"Well I don't see why not, I know you can all achieve this mission without harm anyway." the King insured them.
"Okay, so all we have to do is rescue a princess, am I correct?" Lolover softly spoke looking around the throne room, "Which means we just need a few upgrades. You." Lolover casually pointed at Jolly's sword, "Take it out."
Jolly had a worried look as he pulled out his broken sword, "Does it have a name?" the prince calmy asked, "Uh yes." Jolly responded.
"What is it?" the prince seemed oddly interested at the sword.
"EarthClash, I call it EarthClash."
"Why is that?"
"It came from underneath the ground and- it sounds intimidating." Jolly confessed.
"Well at least you didn't make one up on the spot. Also here you go," the Prince handed over a double scabbard, "thought you might need this." then handed over a brand new silver sword.
"Uh, thanks." Jolly said, putting it in his other scabbard.
The three of them approached the foggy docks (for some reason, it was always dark and foggy).
"Good luck on your travelings, young adventurers." an old man bowed before them. They all simply brushed it aside then got onto a small canal. It was big enough to fit the three of them.
The mist covered their eyes in every direction they looked, so they kept rowing straight ahead.
"Do you believe in the fish people?" Chirpy asked, observing around.
"No, not really." Jolly said.
"Oh well, I do, they have fascinating tales." Chirpy said.
"Good, because they are out there, watching, you just don't see them. Kind of unsettling right?" Lolover joined in.
"What, have you seen one yourself?" Chirpy asked with much delight.
"Well of course, how else would I know they're watching."
"That's nonsense." Jolly rolled his eyes in disbelief.
"Oh come on Jell, we've seen plenty that are worse, not only that, you've seen a dragon yourself!" Chirpy playfully punched Jolly on the shoulder.
"Oh? You've seen a dragon Jolly? the Prince asked with interest.
"Yes, when I was little."
"Now that, is something to brag about. Y'know, people say there are dragons all around this world, hiding in extraordinary large mountains," the Prince took a deep breath, "there could be one hiding right underneath us."
