Jolly slowly opened his eyes and felt his head pounding from the pain. He looked to his left and saw Chirpy and Bill tied up to individual rocks on the edge of the cliff. Jolly looked down then realized he was also tied up to one.

"Sir, King. Why am I also here with these brats?" Beddle said standing up in front of them (he wasn't tied up).

"Because you are no use to me anymore." said a large skeleton sitting on his throne of bones. His presence already sent chills down Jolly's spine.

"Should we kill him first?" A smaller skeleton jumped in excitement.

"No! We don't need to kill me at all, I could still help." Beddle started to stumble upon his words as the thousands of skeletons all around the group jumped and cheered.

Jolly did not want to remain there as it was too much for him, he started to question if the city of light was really worth it.

"Speak again without permission and I'll let George rip you part by part." the skeleton king slammed his bony fist on the side of his throne. He fixed his jaw as it almost fell off, "I'd thank you for your service, but you're only a filthy human after all." the skeletons in the round black cages cheered to this.

Jolly noticed them and started to observe the large cave. In front of them was a bridge which lead to an enormous throne made from bones, the one sitting on it, was the infamous skeleton King, he was abnormally larger than the rest of them. The smaller skeleton "George" so he was called, stood next to him. Behind the adventurers was a cliff above the blazing fire which shot from below around the circle. Above them were several black cages which held dozens of skeletons in each one. Outside of the center, there were the outer rims where the spectator skeletons watched (there were thousands).

"Where's General Arbid?" the skeleton King asked his squire.

"That I know not, my king. He said he would return after his run with the fish." George said gritting his teeth.

"Very well! He's not dead then." the skeleton said smacking George, "Now, about you humans. I would let you go, but- actually I wouldn't."

"I can't imagine what you've been through your past life to become such disposable trash." Chirpy mumbled this to himself.

"What did you say? Can't you see such perfection?" the skeleton king chuckled as he lifted his sword, "I guess we'll start with you then." he said pointing at the mailman.

"Wait! I meant to say, that I'd never thought I'd find such a place, in my life. Truly a spectacle." Chirpy nervously said.

"Well, here you are. Anyways, our first contestant-"

"Let me go first you vile monster!" Bill furiously yelled out.

"Monster? Me? I'm merely alive to be one, but if you say so. Bring him to the circle!" the skeleton King, slammed his other fist on the side.

The armored skeletons dragged the armor-less Bill toward the undead king.

"Not this circle you idiots!" the skeleton King grabbed one of the armored ones by his skull, then crushed it through the armored helmet, "That one." he pointed to his right.

"My king, you mustn't get angry, remember what the witch did." the squire recalled.

"Right, send him to the other circle."

The remaining armored skeleton quickly dragged Bill away in fear. He was brought to another platform with bone fences to each side. The armored skeleton handed him over a small dagger.
