The city seemed so out of this world that they all couldn't believe they were actually there. The roads were clean and everyone seemed happy- well, it didn't seem that populated since the roads were actually empty but aside from that everything was perfect for Jolly. The only thing that really bothered him was "the big event" that the cloaked man mentioned in the faceless forest, and another thing bothered him, Beddle completely disappeared but he probably ditched them awhile ago.
"So the streets may be empty for now, but once we get back to working, it will be busier than working on a flying ship, if that's even possible." the Prince toured them all, "Oh! Before I bring you folks to your new home, I will of course, introduce you to my father."
"Oh boy, he has a father." Kelv said to Violet.
"Is it just me or things just getting stranger and stranger by the second?" Chirpy asked in concern.
"You shouldn't worry about it for now alright, just keep a clear mind." Jolly said stretching his arms back.
There was a loud humming tune coming from the tall skinny tower, it was pale, similar to the rest of the city. It felt odd to Chirpy, he wasn't even supposed to come along. He thought about his older sister, she must be dead worried about him, or has she forgotten about him already? But he knew his sister, she couldn't. As soon as it was all over, he'd finally go home, he thought.
After Prince Lolover toured them throughout the empty city they finally arrived at the weird looking castle. It looked extremely disorganized, at least to Jolly. They all looked around as the guards in shiny armor opened the immense wooden doors.
As the doors opened, there was a gleaming light that slightly blinded them all. The guards marched in front of them, guiding them to the spiral staircase on their left. They all climbed the stairs until they eventually reached the golden throne room. The gold sparkled around the room. There was a shorter man who sat on the floor, playing a silver ukulele, there was also a choir of children on their right, singing them an angelic song, welcoming them. The circular room had a colorful glass dome right above them; and in front of them, was an older man with soft skin, sitting on the golden throne. He had a calm tone and was muscular.
"Welcome. Fellow peoples of the west." said a soft voice, from the man sitting on the throne. "Before you all go wandering town, there needs to be a set of ground rules, I suppose. Firstly, don't destroy anything you don't need to." he took a good look at all of them, "Second, but last, never go into the Feast. It's only for the royal."
"What's a Feast?" one of them yelled out (most likely Gorb).
The King just ignored him and waved them out. Prince Lolover then escorted them out of the great tower of Loloath, by the King of light, Goldender Loloath.
After walking through more empty roads, the sun went down and they all arrived at the nice big house for all of them to stay at (for now). Jolly complained some more, about it being too small for all of them, the adventurer count is nine (including the missing Beddle). The house was white and gold, it had two floors and had four windows in front. They all rushed in the house. After they all settled in, Jolly decided to stay outside for a bit. He looked around for anyone and saw Bill leaning on the white fence. He nervously stood right beside Bill, also leaning on the white fence.
"What are you thinking?" Jolly asked, trying to put himself in a comfortable position.
"Nothing at the moment. What about you?" Bill said, smoking his cigar.
"Ahaha! Look at this, us three warriors, in the same house with of a wretched King." Pareth walked over to them, holding his bottle of rum.
"I'm no warrior, I think you're mistaken on that part." Jolly said with a look of concern.
