"Jolly wake up, they're all leaving!" Chirpy nudged him.
"Oh come on," Jolly sighed, "why so early?"
"Why not?" Kelv said, being his normal self again.
They all got ready and packed their things (well, what they have left). The King commanded everyone to get up and move out. They finally saw the light at the end of the forest, they all walked towards the light and of course, they made it out of the Faceless forest.
The lands were light and bright once again, with a mountain looming over them from the other side of the big lake. It was the great mountain, with its tip reaching for the sky, and it was the biggest mountain anyone has ever seen, it was Mount Seem. The mountain that stood beside his village all his young life.
Up ahead, was a large bridge, that reached what seemed to be a bright light. The adventurers heard sounds of hooves running, it was a horse, it ran by them, it had several scratch marks and scars, it was also in a hurry.
"That seems quite fishy." King Stephen said.
"Speaking of fish, I'm hungry." Gorb spoke as his stomach growled.
"We just ate, maybe you try some healthy food for once." the King said.
"Hey, I eat what I want to eat." Gorb rolled his eyes.
"I agree with that!" Kelv exclaimed, tripping on his own feet.
"I'm surrounded by idiots." Jolly said to himself.
"Well, now you know how I feel." Chirpy slowed his pace to walk beside him, "We're finally at the city of light, I can't believe it, not even with my own two eyes. Remember when I was supposed to leave? Oh if I would have known." Chirpy smiled as he looked up to the sky.
Jolly was happy to have Chirp by his side at all times, it really helped his homesick problem. Jolly just gave Chirpy a pat on the back as they all marched forth to the city of light. The bridge was made of silver and gold and it looked like something out of this world. Even though Jolly promised his uncle he'd never see anything out-worldly, this was a true exception. The city also seemed to be surrounded by water on all sides.
They all walked for an hour then they reached the golden gates of the city. They arrived to the city of light, but not quite, "Who are yous?" a voice can be heard from up above the gates. It was from a young man who looked like the perfect form of a human being, he had smooth skin and golden hair.
"If a guy looks like that over here, who knows what the women are like." Chirpy whispered over to Jolly.
"We are humans from the West!" the King yelled out for the young man to hear.
"From the West? And what brings you here?" the man asked.
"We needed a place to stay my friend."
"A place to stay. I'll have to talk to the King about this." the man said, "What? Oh, alright then. Never mind, we'll let you in!" it sounded like the man was speaking to someone else from the other side of the golden gates.
"Open the gates!" the man yelled out. The gates started to open, the doors opened outwards and towards the adventurers direction. The adventurers were all in awe as they watched the gates opened, behind the gates revealed a massive city that flashed before their eyes. In front of them, stood a man that wore bright gold clothes and armor.
There were whispers that followed in the group. "Greet them well Prince Lolover!" the man said raising up his hand.
"Fellow adventurers," the Prince spoke in a soft voice.
The prince swiftly turned around then walked back into the city, the others followed him with both excitement and joy. They past the gates as it closed behind them, the Prince turned around yet again then spoke with more soft words, "Welcome, to the city of light."
