Up, up, up, above the tunnels, through holes and back at that little hut lies Kelvin Eve, beside him was the little girl laying on a tree.

"I heard yells for help, I should go see what's happening." Kelv got up (aided mostly by the girl and the tree). She followed as he entered the small hut. Once he got in, he saw that the basement door was open, he curiously went down the stairs. It was dark and it seemed like it had no ending. As he walked, he felt nothing beneath him as he took another step with his right boot. He thought that was the end of it, but he felt two little hands pull him up.

"My thanks, there seems to be a huge gaping hole ahead of us. It seems like our fellow adventurers have either, left us behind or have fallen down this hole which would be quite unfortunate for the both of us." he simply shuddered at this sentence.

They exited the hut leaving it for good, they were now on their own. Kelv took the food from the shelves then put it in his little brown bag. They headed straight down the road, for days and days to come.

"Carrots?" he waved it around.

".."

"Not much of a talker I suppose." he said taking a bite out of it, "Sho, there should be shight of a large cashle straight ahea-" she covered his mouth as he swallowed his food.

"Sorry, heheh. Do you have a name? We've been traveling for days and yet I still haven't caught it." he asked. She shook her head.

"Well, do you have a home?" at this, she shook her head again.

"Look, for now our quest is- my quest is to head towards the city of light. You can stay with us- with me if you please, I will protect you all the way. Once you reach it, you will be safe, I promise. And as for the name, does Violet work?" to this, she stopped and hugged him. She nodded in agreement.

After they ate a small breakfast, they heard more shuffling in the bushes. This time with the extra croaks and splashes, then they heard a horn playing in the distance. They looked straight ahead and realized they were almost out of that forest. Kelv picked Violet up and placed her on his back. A creature of blue-ish green, with giant webbed feet stood in front of them. Its eyes were bulging out big, the scales looked like armor, and its ears were bigger than its webbed hands. It looked almost as if it was disturbed, it dropped its horn, then it muttered to itself.

It took out its dagger then charged towards them with an echoing yell that followed through the forest. Kelv felt that Violet wasn't on his back anymore. She put herself in front of him then transformed into a white wolf with blue eyes. She leaped on top of the creature biting its head. The creature grabbed her fur and threw her back. Seven other fish-men hopped out of the bushes with their own silver daggers. They croaked as they surrounded the two. Then they heard a trumpet right outside the forest, there were several men on horses with long wooden spears with a sharp silver on the tip. They had silver armor that shined through their eyes, the leader charged towards the first fish creature then pierced it through its heart. It screeched as it fell onto the floor, "We'll get the fresh meat later." one of them croaked, as they all fled away into the deep forest.

"Come with me young lady." a young man wearing a white crown reached out to Violet, who was now back to a human girl.

"No thank you, she's got other plans on the way, but thank you so very much for saving us." Kelv grabbed her arm. She held up her finger telling him no, he let go of her arm then she got on the man's horse.

All the other soldiers followed away, he gloomily walked the same direction and out of the forest. Now the land was plain, no trees, no animals and no flowers, just the green grass that lay short.
