I waited for the bus. Katherine never responded, guess she was busy. I was dreading going home alone but if I met someone new that would be a perk. My mind was still focused on Mitchell and how hot he was. I could only imagine the amount of girls he has been with which isnt such a good thing but we all have our ways, his is his looks and just maybe, his personality.
The bus finally came after 10 minutes of waiting. There were a few other people but none I recognized from my classes. Katherine ended up calling me as I took a seat. I anwsered and told her the whole story, we both squealed. I guess I couldnt complain about her getting boys all the time, because today a hottie admitted he was interested in me, and I am so interested in him too. For the rest of my day even while doing homework Mitchell was who I thaught about.
I managed to invite Katherine over for dinner, I was very lonesome. But before she was to arrive I went to my bookself in my room and set up all my books. Pride and Preduce, Withering Hieghts, If I Stay, Eleanor & Park, and 13 Reasons Why were just to name a few books that were on the shelves. My bookcase was completley full. I wanted to make dinner for her, but I figured it would be more fun if we made it together.
Katherine had finally arrived and I don't think I could have gotten more excited when I opened the door. I was hungry and needed the company badly. My mind had it set that I needed to talk about Mitchell... once again, even though she knew all the details already. She wanted to know what he looked like. It was hard to explain to her but I managed. With the way her facial expression was, I figured she was jealous of me.
After we sat on the couch and chatted and drank some tea, we set into the kitchen to make our dinner. Salsa crockpot Chicken sounded amazing and appitizing. I was the better cook than Katherine. I learned from aunt, who I miss dearly. Katherine made some rice to go along with our chicken and nearly burnt it. It gets better once we cut the chicken... not. Katherine practically drops drops the chicken onto the counter and the salsa stuffed inside all falls out, but instead of trying to eat our dinner we laugh at eachother. Once we collect ourselves we grab our plates full of food and head to the dining room.
Our dinner was delicious and full of conversation about what we want to do this week, but we already knew this weekend would deffinatley involve a party of some sort. I didn't seem like the type of girl to do "bad things" but everyones impressions are wrong. Me and Katherine have attended many parties but we keep it low. We aren't those girls that sneak off with another girls boyfriend to fuck. Or the girl that wakes up drunk with puke breathe still.
It was getting late into the night and I didn't want Katherine walking to her dorm in the pitch dark. It's scary and your unaware of your surrondings. May think a college campus is a safe place but sometimes they aren't sadly. Katherine looked super tired, persuading her to go home was hard but she had a early morning class tomorrow, which i'm sure she'd regret taking.
The night fell quickly for me too. As soon as Katherine left I had put my pajamas on and hopped into bed. I wanted her to text me once she had gotten back so I knew she was safe, but that never happened. Without even noticing my eyes were shutting slowly while I lied in bed.
I slept past my alarm this morning but I was sure that i'll make it to class on-time. Skipping breakfest this morning probably wasn't the best idea, my mind had a problem concentrating and understandung things in Sociology. I was focused on someone across the room. I had saw this person yesterday and it wasn't Mitchell. It was Hayes. I deffinatley wanted to go conversate with him for a little bit. This was another class that all we did was go over the syllabus... boring.
After class I walked to louange area. Hayes followed me. Hoping he was taking a break too, I sat down and waited for him to come sit next to me. He did so.
"Hey Bailey!" he exclaimed.
"Hi Wyantt! How are you?" I asked. "More than great! You like Sociology?" he replied.
"Yeah I mean it's the first day, so we shall she how well it goes!"
"Yeah, so I've been hearing about you around the frat house!"
"Exactly what do you mean?" I sighed. "What are people saying about me? Hope it's nothing bad."
"No worries it isn't!" he patted my shoulder. "Just Mitchell saying his peace about your hotness!" he laughed.
Well this was great, Mitchell was telling all the frat boys about me. I mean we just met, what more could he want? My mind was swirling with thoughts. What kind of guy was he actually?
