The message said it was sent. My face was blankly staring at the pictures on the wall next to the TV stand. I felt my phone viberate in my plam which indicated I got a reply. Within the message I spotted a winky face emoji. My cheeks flushed bright red as I read the words.
"Hi cutie, how was the rest of your day?" was what the text read as I started typing back, thinking slighty about what was to come this weekend. I was ready for the weekend already, my first week of college has so afr been great but I wanna expirence some new things... like the outrageous parties and meet new people.
My mind snapped back into reality and I had seen Mitchell replied again. We kept our conversation going until I had to focus on my studying on a quiz that is tomorrow in Sociology. This was the only thing I hated about college, the part that you actually had to study stuff. But in the end when I grdauate with a degree I know it will all be worth it.
After a hour or so of studying I grabbed my phone to see if anyone contacted me. 15 notifications from Mitchell... all were text messages. Did he really miss me that much? Maybe we should hang out, I mean we both wanna get to know eachother, so i responded asking if he would like too. My phone rang loudly, a call was coming in and it was Mitchell. He sounded nervous and it was cute. We both decided to meet downtown and take a stroll along the river on the boardwalk. Knowing me I had to change into a nice outfit to impress him before he came to pick me up at 7. I put on my dark red skater skirt, with a cream sweater and an mustard yellow scarf, and some black see through tights and my black combat boots. A perfect fall outfit that was adorable for a coffee date... (if you wanted to consider this a date)
I could feel my hearbeat quicken as time passed. My hands trembled with fear because i've never been in this position before. My phone rang and I peered out the window... Mitchell was parked in front of my house. I answered and told him I'd be out in second.
I closed and locked my apartment door and walked away. Looking into the distance at Mitchells car I noticed he drives a silver 1989 BMW Tunada. It looked remodeled which was a relief. I opened the passenger door and he greeted me politely. Getting buckled in I set my arm on the arm rest between our two seats, he grasped the steering wheel and sped off. I could feel the awkwardness within the air. I glanced over at him. The way his eyes starred at the road with a glaze and his jawline was prompt, his rosy red cheeks made me giggle on the inside. My stomach fluttered with butterflies and I knew my feelings for him were growing as the minutes passed in time.
He finally spoke and it broke the awkwardness. "So... uh you wanna go get some Starbucks before we head on our little walk?" he asked.
"Sure I'd love that! My favorite is a carmel hazelnut frappucino!" I said to him.
I saw him peer over at me with a smirk, he moved his right arm over to the center console and started figiting with my hand. My body had a tingle sensation move throughout it. I wanted to ask him what was going on but my nerves were under pressure. But he kept the conversation going about "us." I felt another sensation but it was more towards my thigh area. Mitchells hand was slowing moving up my thigh.
The arousal I was feeling was insane. I'd never felt a feeling like that before. I starred intently at his face as he casually looked straight at the road which no intentions of moving his hand from my thigh.
Was he trying to get something out of this?
The conversation had stopped and I watched the scenery out the window, my eyes kept wanting to focus on Mitchell. But we had arrived to Starbucks and decided to go through the drive-thru. I wondered what he was gonna order, but he didnt get anything. I questioned why but never got a anwser. We pulled up to the second window and recieved my frappuchino. I handed Mitchell my money but he pushed it away. Exactly at that moment I knew he was paying for me. A real gentlemen, he was.
Within a couple minutes from leaving Starbucks we arrived at the boardwalk. The colorful fall leaves were still on the trees and the old fashioned lights made it look so beautiful. Mitchell exited the car and came over to my door. He opened it for me. His first impression was really hitting home.
