We had crossed the border from Ohio into Pennsylvania and I felt the nervousness in my body. My fingers and toes were tingiling and my mouth was watery. Why was I nervous? Maybe it's the thought of meeting new people, partying and succeeding in school. But what was to become of the future was to be through this story.

Katherine was trying to get ahold of me later in the day but I was driving. I figured my parents needed a break. We still had 6 hours to go on this road trip. We stopped in the mountains and had a picnic. It was a beautiful sight. The way the fog layed over the peaks and how the suns rays shined through the clouds. I enjoyed every minute that I had to spend with my parents on this trip, only because I didnt know when I would be home next.

We set back on the road in the late afternoon and drove straight to Abington taking turns driving. We stayed at another hotel until I could get my apartment keys the next day. I was excited to finally live on my own, but I didnt really understand how I would manage my time. Katherine would help out... only because I know she's going to be at my apartment more than her dorm.

Feeling sleep deprived I snuggled into my bed for the night, it was actually comfy. My mom stayed up on Facebook again. I had to yell  at her, her phones brightness was all over the walls disturbing me. Since I wasn't really able to fall asleep now, I went on Twitter. Nothing was new... some old people complaining about the same old things, just a different day.

I woke up in the middle of my sleep, a scary dream had caused me to jolt up. I had been having odd dreams a lot recently, wonder why? My mom heard me gasp when awoke and asked if I was okay. I didnt awnser, just laid back down and went back to sleep. I had 3 hours till I needed to wake up but my phone started vibarating loudy. The name on the screen was a guy from my hometown, his name is Zachary. He was the quaterback of the football team and the popular-prep in high school. Honestly I had a crush on him since eigth grade. I ended up answering, I didnt want to wake my parents so I snuck into the bathroom and asked him what he needed. He was drunk, awesome. At first I was just going to ease drop since he wasnt talking into the phone, then I heard a familiar voice it was an ex-boyfriend of mine. Max.

I no longer wanted to listen or even speak to them. Just another drunken call I should've ignored. It was 5 AM what the hell where they even doing up this late? Walking out of bathroom and back to my bed, I tripped on my suitcase. It hurt and made a loud thump. Just what I needed a nice big bruise on my leg...

Not even knowing how I got back into bed after the phone call, my mom had to wake me around 9 AM so we could leave. I wanted to clean up and look presentable but that wasn't going to happen. My parents were rushing to get my keys.

A anxious and tense feeling filled my body as we headed to my landlords house. I was moving into my apartment today and tomorrow is going to be my first day of college. Katherine texted me asking if we needed help. I said yes... the more people we would have the faster unloading would be done. I never realized all the stuff I packed until it was all waiting to be unpacked. Boxes were scattered across my whole living space, but I loved the old fashioned look the apartment had to its bare walls.

My room and bathroom were the first places to be unboxed and put around the rooms. My bedroom had a balcony and a walk-in closet (just what I needed) the bathroom looked modern and sleek... I heard a crash from the other room. So many questions ran through my mind as I paced toward the hallway from the front door to the living room. I found my dad lying on the ground, he was groaning. I quickly glanced at the box he had dropped and it was all my picture frames. At this point I was more concerned about my father, I panicly shouted for my mom. She ran towards us slurring multiple swear words.
