~Third person POV (unless specified)~

Larry sighed softly as he plopped down on his bed with his phone. He stared at the screen, almost willing someone to message him. He hadn't been able to really talk to his friends for a few days since he had been grounded after getting suspended for supergluing a certain teacher's book to her desk. He had just gotten his phone back but no one had answered his message yet. "They're busy." He said softly to himself and dropped his phone to his side and closed his eyes.
Ash grabbed her phone from her nightstand as she sat down on the edge of her bed. She smiled softly as she seen the text from Larry. "Shit... he sent this like an hour ago..." She mumbled as she quickly sent a reply.
Ash: "Hey! Finally finished with jail huh? Wanna hang out?"
She chuckled softly as she sent the message. She was used to Larry getting in trouble but this time had been so much different. He hadn't been allowed out of the basement for the last few days.

Lar: "Hey! Yeah lol, finally. Sure, your place or mine?"
Ash: "I'll come over there. We can go explore that pond Todd was talking about!"
Lar: "What pond?"
Ash: "Oh. Right. You weren't there for the conversation XD. Todd found a pond in the woods."
Lar: "So you're telling me that Todd, the guy that hates the outdoors, went out into the woods and found a pond?"
Ash: "Yep. Surprised me and Sal too. Anyway, I'll be there in a few minutes. Talk to you then."

Larry chuckled softly as he set his phone down and sat up. "Shit. I gotta clean up a little..." He mumbled as he got up and started shoving some stuff under the bed and into the closet, being careful not to disturb the paintings he had stashed in there.
After a few minutes Ash got to the apartments and walked inside. She was greeted by Lisa who let her borrow her key card to the basement. She smiled softly as she got in the elevator and pressed the button for the basement, pulling at her clothes to make them look a bit nicer. Once the elevator doors opened she walked out and to the apartment. She knocked softly and waited for Larry to respond before opening the door.
Larry was in the process of shoving some more stuff under his bed when he heard the knock at the door, startling him slightly. He bumped his head on the bed frame as he sat up. "Fuck! Uh... come in?" He called out as he walked out into the living room.
Ash smiled at him as she opened the door. "Hiya... why are you rubbing your head? Are you ok?"
Larry chuckled softly. "I'm fine, bumped my head on the bed is all."
Ash smirked as she crossed her arms. "You were 'cleaning' by shoving stuff under your bed again... weren't you?" She said knowingly.
Larry snickered softly and stuck out his tongue. "Maybe..."
Ash laughed softly. "Lar! You need to clean your room for real!"
"I know but, am I going to? Probably not." Larry snickered.
Ash rolled her eyes and chuckled softly. "Come onnn... Let's go find the pond!" She groaned playfully as she grabbed Larry's arm and dragged him to the door.
Larry laughed softly as he let himself get pulled along. "Fiiiine."
They get into the elevator and head back up to the first floor, giving Lisa back her keycard before going outside and walking to the woods behind the apartments.
"Do you think we'll actually be able to find it?" Larry asked softly.
Ash shrugged. "We might. Who knows? It shouldn't be to hard." She said softly.
Larry snickered and rolled his eyes. "Well I mean... We aren't necessarily the best with directions. Remember when we got lost in the back of the supermarket?"
"Yes! We got in the most trouble!" Ash shouted as she started to laugh.
Larry laughed softly. "I told you not to follow me!"
"You would've gotten in trouble if I was with you or not!" Ash said laughing.
Larry pretended to be offended. "How dare you assume I'd get in trouble!"
Ash stuck out her tongue and grabbed his hand, as she did a lot. "Oh hush Lar-bear."
Larry rolled his eyes and playfully shoved her as he took her hand. "How dare you call me Lar-bear."
They laughed softly as they walked farther into the woods. After a few minutes Ash looked around. "Uh... Lar are we lost right now?"
Larry shook his head. "No I don't think so..."
"You don't think so?!" Ash chuckled softly.
"No I don't think so." Larry said softly before he tripped suddenly, faceplanting into the ground. "Fuck! Ow!"
Ash tensed before kneeling down by Larry and helping him sit up. "Are you ok? Shit, you're bleeding! Lar you have to be more careful!"
"I'm fine. I just fell Ash..." Larry mumbled softly as he wiped his nose, seeing he was in fact bleeding. "Well fuck..."
Ash rolled her eyes and hugged Larry. "Stupid head... clumsy ass." She chuckled softly.
Larry snickered and hugged her back. "You know it."
They stood up and continued walking. After a few minutes Larry stopped and held his hand up. "Do you hear that? It's water I think..." He said softly.
Ash bit her lip and titled her head to the side to hear the faint sound of water. "Yeah... That must be it!" She said happily as she took off towards the noise.
"Ash! Wait up dude!" Larry called after her as he ran after her, laughing softly.
