~Third person POV (unless specified)~

>The next day
Ash was caught up in her own thoughts as she walked to school with Sal and Todd, not realizing Sal was trying to talk to her until he waved his hand in front of her face.
"Ash? Are you ok? You're more out of it then Lar when he's high." Sal chuckled softly.
"Hmm? Oh, yeah, I'm fine. I was just thinking." Ash said softly. "Uh... What was it you were saying?"
Sal chuckled softly and shook his head. "I was asking if you were gonna come hang out with me and Todd after school. We're gonna have Larry come through on the walkie and bore him to death while we do homework." He snickered softly.
Ash laughed softly. "Yeah, that sounds so fun, listening to Lar's unamused groans as we do boring ass homework." She said in a voice laced with sarcasm.
Todd rolled his eyes. "I doubt he'll complain to much, the most he'll probably do is turn of the walkie just to get shouted at by Sal for it later."
Sal nodded. "He better not turn off the walkie." He said softly and crossed his arms.
Ash chuckled softly as she let herself go back to her own thoughts. "Thottina was in Lar's room... She fuckin KISSED HIM... Gross..." She felt her blood start to boil a bit just thinking about that girl, let alone her kissing Larry. Her frustration must have shown through her normal 'resting bitch face' because Todd questioned her.
"Uh... Ash? You ok? You seem mad all of the sudden." Todd mumbled cautiously.
"Who? Me? No, I'm fine Todd. Just. Fine." Ash huffed and sped up a bit to put space between her and the two boys as they neared the school. Her anger only growing when she seen Thottina and some of her friends standing in front of the school. She frowned and hurried up the steps and inside before they noticed her. Thottina's obnoxious laugh as one of her friends said something followed Ash into the school. "Oh yeah... today's gonna be great..." She mumbled to herself and walked off to her locker.

>In between periods
Ash sighed as she put her books in her locker and traded them for the ones she'd need for math. She tensed up as a particularly snotty voice sounded from behind her.
"Oh, Hi there Ashley." Thottina said with a small giggle. "Where's your friend Larry? He's usually her with those other two freaks around this time."
"It's none of your business where he is and Sal and Todd are not freaks." Ash huffed and slammed her locker, her blood starting to boil again.
"Oh so snappy." Thottina said as she rolled her eyes. She opened her mouth to say something else but was cut off by Ash's first colliding with the side of her face.
"Why don't you shut up for once?!" Ash shouted.
Thottina gasped and stood up straight (having stumbled a bit after getting punched.) "Who the hell do you think you are?!"
Ash swung at her again, hitting her right in her nose and knocking her down.
Thottina started to cry and curled up into a ball. "Help! She's trying to kill me!" She shouted as the vice principal rushed down the hall towards them, being summoned by the Thottina's cries.
"Ms. Campbell! What on earth are you doing?! Attacking another student like this!" He huffed as he pulled Ash back a little from the sobbing blonde on the floor.
"She was being a bitch and called my friends freaks!" Ash spit at him, pulling her arm out of his grasp.
A group of other students had formed at this point because that sixth sense for when I a fight was happening kicked in. Sal and Todd were there looking between Ash, the vice principal and Thottina.
"Well Ms. Campbell, that still gave you no right to attack the girl in such a way... I believe I'm going to have to call your father and most likely suspend you for a few days." He said and crossed his arms.
"Go ahead and do it!" Ash huffed and pushed past him and stomped off down the hall to the front door.
"Ash where are you going?" Todd and Sal called after her.
"Away from this school!" Ash shouted back as she walked out of the door and started towards the apartments.
