~Third person POV (unless specified)~

"Why the fuck are the Phelps' coming here mom?" Larry asked as he followed Lisa out of his room.
"Because, you still need to apologize to Father Phelps for what you did and I thought it would be nice to invite him and Travis over. Also, watch your mouth." Lisa replied as she started getting ingredients ready.
"Mom. Me and Travis don't get along and even if I did apologize to Phelps he would still hate me so there isn't a point." Larry groaned as he plopped on the couch.
Lisa turned to Larry and raised an eyebrow. "Larry Johnson. Enough."
"Fine." Larry groaned and crossed his arms as there was a knock on the door. "I'm going to my room." He said as he went to stand up.
"Oh no you are not Larry. Go answer the door." Lisa huffed and crossed her arms.
"Mommmm..." Larry groaned softly as he walked to the door and opened it.
"Hello Father. Hello Travis." Lisa greeted as she walked up behind Larry. "I'm so glad you two could make it."
"Hello to you as well Ms. Johnson." Phelps said as he and Travis stepped into the apartment. "Thank you for inviting us."
Larry scrunched up his face before trying to sneak to his room, only to get grabbed by the back of his shirt by Lisa. "Larry Johnson. Where are your manners?"
"In my room. I was going to get them." Larry chuckled softly as Lisa smacked him in the back of the head. "I mean, Hi Mr. Phelps. Hi Travis."
Travis stifled a snicker and shook his head. "Hi."
"Why don't you three sit down in the living room while I go and finish preparing dinner?" Lisa offered.
"I wouldn't mind helping you if you need assistance." Phelps said softly.
"It really isn't necessary Father. I'm sure I can manage." Lisa chuckled.
"No I insist, I don't think I could just sit down and allow you to do all the work yourself." Phelps said as he walked with Lisa to the kitchen.
Larry sighed softly as he plopped back down on the couch. "Your dad is creepy."
"Offering to help is creepy now Johnson?" Travis asked as he sat down on the opposite side of the couch.
"No. Not that part, just everything else." Larry sighed.
Travis shrugged as he crossed his arms and leaned against the back of the couch.
"You don't wanna be here anymore then I want to be here, do you?" Larry snickered.
Travis chuckled softly. "Is it that obvious?"
"Seeing as you literally looked like you wanted to disappear when you walked in here? Yes, very."
"Shut it." Travis chuckled softly. "I don't even understand why your mom invited us, she does know how much my dad and you don't get along right? Let alone how much we don't get along?"
"That's basically what I said!" Larry laughed softly. "I think she just wants to be nice and not have to worry about getting judged by all the church people for what Phelps says about me all the time."
"Makes sense." Travis shrugged as they both fell silent again.
Larry sighed softly. "Do you want to listen to music or something? There isn't much else to do and we have to get along for the moment or my mom will probably smack me out of existence."
"The music you listen to? Definitely not. My dad would have my head if I listened to that stuff, let alone listen to it with you." Travis snickered.
"Then what do you suggest we do, Mr. Church boy?" Larry huffed and looked at him.
Travis thought for a second then shrugged. "I don't know."
Lisa smiled as she and Phelps walked into the living room. "I'm so glad you two are getting along!"
"Mhm." Larry sighed softly.
Phelps raised an eyebrow at Travis then looked at Larry.
"Anyway, the food is ready so come on, let's all go sit down and eat." Lisa said softly before they all walked to the kitchen. She grabbed Larry's arm and held him back for a second. "I expect you to apologize to Father Phelps before he leaves."
"Yes ma'am..." Larry groaned as they walked into the kitchen.

Phelps and Lisa shared conversation as they all sat in the living room after eating.
Larry sighed softly as Lisa looked over to him during a lull of the conversation. "Alright..." He mouthed as he stood up and walked over to Phelps. "I want to apologize for what I did during service the other day. It was rude and uncalled for and I shouldn't have done it. I'm sorry. " Larry sighed softly.
Phelps raised an eyebrow and smiled. "I accept your apology. Thank you for saying sorry, I was almost worried that you had no remorse for doing something so rude."
"Mhm..." Larry sighed as he went and sat back down. "I hate that man..." He thought to himself.
