Chapter Three

Right so heres my backstory with Luke we were bestfriends since childhood til about year nine when we kinda just drifted, i then realised how much i needed him in my life.Thats why he was so upfront with  holding my hand

We were currently in Lukes car heading to his house, you should of seen the look on the other guys faces as we drove off without them. I made sure i told Emma why I wouldnt be walking home with her etc and she seemed happy for me.

Text to Emma
Hey gurl, sorry i cant walk home with you today, guess who my new tutor is? Luke.
Yay so im going to his for tutoring sorry x

Its okay, and yeah i know i spoke to Liz and i saw you two drive off in his car, have fun x

i turned round to Luke smiling at me "so how've you been?"

"Good thanks you"

"I missed you"

"I missed you to" i admit, i truly have missed him.alot.

He grabbed my hand and intertwined our fingers, crossing our pinkies over at the end. It was our little thing when we were little

"Awh you remebered"

"Of course i did" giving me one of his cute winks

He reached over to the radio and pressed play and September by Earth Wind and Fire came blaring through the speaker this was literally our favourite song to sing in the car

"DO YOU REMEBER?" swaying side to side, we started giggling at ourselfs
( I put a video at the side- when Luke sways and says do you remember is what we were doing basically)

We were nearly at his, we havent hung out properly in about nearly 2 years there was no hiding i was excited.

We pulled up infront of his house,i havent been here in nearly two years but it all looked the same like nothings changed.He opens the door for me and we walk up the front path and i take out my key.

"You still have that key?" Luke says with chuckle

"Yep" i say letting us in, this used to be like my secondhome, id stay here alot, Liz didnt mind as they were literally my second family

We take off our shoes and head upstairs to his room, where i plonk myself on the bed.Luke follows me onto the bed and sits across from me

"Luke, can we not study today and catch up?"

"You still do that"

"Do what?"

"Say exactly what im thinking" making me giggle

"So, hows your brothers??"

"They moved out about 11 months ago, they moved to england" he says with a sigh

"Really?"

"Yeah things get quite lonely here, i want things to be like they used to be"

"So do I, Ive missed my bestfriend alot" pulling him in for a hug, he wraps his arms around my waist.

I rest my head in his chest listening to his heartbeat, as he places a kiss on my head.

Ive missed this, being in his arms, hanging out all the time, being so close.

Luke rocks from side to side and falls on the bed still holding my waist, but me now ontop of him. I adjust my position, falling next to him and resting my head on his chest.

He holds my waist tightly with one arm and plays with my hair with the other, he loves to mess up my straight hair, its been a thing he's done since we were about eight

After a while Lukes dad calls him down for dinner, i dont even think he knows im here.

Me and Luke go downstairs into the dining room

"KATIE?" He says not believing what he sees

"Yes its me"

"You havent been here in over a year! Ive missed you putting Luke in his place" i giggle,Luke rolls his eyes and playfully punches his dads shoulder

"Well come sit down you two, Liz is still at work so its just us three"We sit round the table and dig into the food.

I finally have my bestfriend back
