Do you know love?
Is fear ever enough to drive people away? Our fear of ourselves, our fear of them?
Would you ask love?
Is that fear strong enough to keep us apart?
Won't you understand love?
That no matter my fear of you only I can stand between you and your madness
When your eyes are ablaze with anger or hunger for things you can't have
When your heart is out of your control and your mind at its weakest
When your tongue slips the most stinging lies
Won't you accept love
That I will be the only one between your sanity and you?
