The Dangerous Game

Chapter 8

Rolling his eyes, he walked out of the room glaring at Lucas as he continued to look at me? "Need something?" I asked. His smile faded as he answered. "Nope. You just look cute when your mad." He stated and continued to smirk.
I was taken aback. "Get the fuck out of my site." I said and grabbed a cup.
"Alright....cutie." he said smugly and walked away. I rolled my eyes holding back a smile.

But I have to get ready soon.

For tomorrow.

The party.

I was a beautiful sunset. I snuck out onto the roof like always. At 6 o'clock everyday. For three years. Watching the sunsets, the color changing. Sometimes it was a fire themed sunset. Beautifully painted with a dark orange. And sometimes it was on a light side. A cotton candy sky. Pink and purple.

Geese would always fly by in season in a triangular line. Always at 6:02 p.m. follwing the leader as the rest follow in 2 separate lines going out. It was always a beautiful scenery to watch. Something so peaceful and delicate. Not to mention beautiful.

I've always found nature well...extraordinary, the colors, the details, and just its beauty. Its absolutely breath taking to be honest. So that's why at 6 o'clock everyday. For the past three years. I have watched every sunset. And each time. It was alone. Just me myself and I.

Until today.

The party was going to start in 1 hour and I still havent gotten ready. For all I care I can show up in a hoodie and sweats. Because I could care less about what people think of me. I think it's stupid to put yourself down because of someone that doesnt even know you talks crap about you. But everyone is different and has their own securities.

So I sat on the roof. At 6 o'clock. Watching the sunset. It was a creamy dark orange today with a hint of yellow. The trees closest to me appeared black. Touching of the image. But then at 6:02 p.m, the geese flew buy and out went the door to the rooftop. I rolled my eyes at the fact that someone came here. I turned around annoyed, to see and individual walking towards me. And as if on cue, the geese flew in a triangular line above him and went onward to the park.

"What are you doing up here?" Lucas asked me as he sat down next to me. I looked up at him and gave a small smile, "just enjoying the sunset."

He smiled back at me and turned to watch the sunset. I looked at him for a moment. His relaxed calm face and his glowing skin. Fuck. Hes actually pretty cute. I regained my focus and put it on the sunset. Relaxing and waiting for something else to happen. And what happened next wasnt what I had in mind.

But deadass what happened next was not what I had in mind.

I was starting to relax more and put my hand down as a rest. Enjoying the sunset I felt something on my hand. I quickly turn my gaze to my hand. Two of his fingers were on top of my two fingers. I knew it was an accident because his face flushed a lil bit. I starred at our hands for a moment. And quickly move my hand and get up like a fucking idiot. I walked to the exit not even glancing at him. How could I? I literally just met this bitch and he already got my stomach turni- wait. What the hell am I saying?

Or so I thought???? Ion fucking know.

I walked down the steps feeling like an idiot. Or I wasnt entirely sure if I should feel like one. But I wanted his dumb ass smile off my mind. So I got ready for the party. I ended up putting on fish net pants and ripped Jean's on top, with my thrasher crop top and a pair of Van's. And the final beauty artical of clothing was our jacket. Blood pack gang with a scratches over it to signify as a wolf scratch.

As I looked at myself in the mirror I noticed that I forgot to give something to a certain someone since they're in our gang know. But I didnt want to talk to that certain someone. But as leader I have to.

I walked downstairs yelling, "New Gang Member Meeting!' Quickly I heard whispers and some yelling going across the warehouse. Everyone started pulling outside with their jackets on. Everyone was practically ready for the party. People gathered around the fire pit/bon pit. People chattered and laughed her and there. As I made my way through the crowd which they immediately made a passage way for me. I stopped in the middle looking at them disbelieved.

"What the fuck are you guys doing?"
I yelled so everyone could hear. It stayed dead silent for a few moments.
"Why so serious? I'm not a fucking queen or anything. Shit." I chuckled as I finished. People rolled their eyes and laughed as I continued making my way. Finally, I stood before all my people, my family.

"As you chismosos know by now, we have a new gang member. Know, remeber do not trust him. Remeber the rules. Welcome...uh...Lucas Zunman." I said almost forgetting his name. Everyone cheered wildly as he walked to the front only keeping his eyes on me. I looked away from his gaze and looked to Asher. He gave a small glare at Lucas.

Lucas was now beside me and the crowd noise went down. I grabbed his new coat and held it to the crowd. "Lucas Zunman...member of The Blood Pack!" I yelled and then looked at Lucas. He smiled at me and the faced me. I started putting the coat on him as the crowd noise went even louder.

As the coat was finally on I closed my fist in gr he air at the crowd. Everyone silenced as I made my final announcement.

"Let's go to this party bitches!"
