Chapter 26

Sadie just stared at me in utter confusion, "what the actual fuck are you talking about?" I pressed my lips into a thin line, "look what I wanted to say that I....I'm sorry...........

And i care about you too..."

I starred into his eyes completely unsuspecting what he had said. 'I care about you too.' Now thinking back on it only I said I cared about him and he didnt say anything back. Before I could say anything Lucas came jogging to us, again, out of breath.
"Sa-oh my god, hold on let me take a quick breath." Lucas breathed out and placed his hands on his knees bending down and breathing harshly.

I glanced at finn who looked annoyed at Lucas' presence. We both stood there awkwardly waiting for Lucas to say something. Finally he stood straight, "Sadie.....Finn....we need to talk about how or when I'm going go join the other gang."

I sighed and walked back to the room leaving both boys behind. I heard loud steps heading my direction as I entered and saw Finn jogging ahead of Lucas who groaned and lazily jogged over here.
Rolling my eyes I took a seat waiting for all of them to arrive.

Once we were all seated I had a plan in motion. "Lucas you need to join them at least tomorrow or the day after." I said sternly. "Isnt that a little too soon for lover boy?" Finn asked. Lucas flipped him off annoyed. "Look I need Asher back, I dont know about you but the person I'm trying to save is important to me." Finn raised his eyebrows. I knew what that bastard was thinking, Arent I important to you too? You said you cared about me.'

"Noah is......an important.....asset to our gang...?" Finn suggested saying it like it was a question. I rolled my eyes. Important asset my ass. Hes probably just trying to get him back so Noah wont spill anything about his gang.

"Why is this guy so important to you?" Lucas asked raising his eyebrows. Before being able to say anything Jaeden stepped in to say something.
"hes not just important to her but to me and everyone else in our gang. Asher and Sadie are the heart of our gang, were a pack and nobody gets left behind." Sabrina smiled at me and Jaeden after his short speech. Our gangs bond has always been strong. Other than the incident with Noah nothing ever went wrong. We all had each others back because we came from broken families and most of us shared the same pain. Because I truly believe you can never truly know one another unless you know the same pain.

Finn stayed quite for a moment. And I could tell by how he was looking down at the ground and his silence that his gang didnt have that.
"Lucas, you're in my gang now, so that means I'll protect you when your doing this. You may be new and I cant trust you yet, but just know that I am willing to die for anybody in the gang even if I dont trust them." I said sternly and truthfully. Lucas eyes widened a little bit before relaxing his eyes and lightly chuckled, "I feel flattered and honored Miss Sink." I gave a small smile before catching Finns stare.

I couldnt help but feel weird at the fact that Sadie said all that to Lucas. And that little sly comment he made back. She was willing to die for him, and her comrades. She may not trust them completely but her heart lies within her gang. Which was unruling against my gang. Most of them were selfish and in our own way had our own groups of friends within the gang. We definitely all didnt get along. Some were just plain psychopaths, others that need money for themselves, and people who need money for their families.

I starred at Sadie and eventually she caught my stare. Those crystal ocean eyes were so fucking hypnotizing. I looked away not wanting to. Looking back at the ground feeling a little disappointed that my gang hasnt reached that level of familiarity. I looked up again and saw the girl and Sadie whispering to each other.
"Who are you?" I asked looking at the blonde short girl that had been talking to Sadie. She looked at me raising her eyebrows, "Sabrina. I'm Sadie's right hand girl." "Ahh..." I let out, clearing my confusion.
"I'm jack and this is maddie, were our gangs brains." Jack said introducing himself and Maddie to Sabrina.

Sadie turned her head to Wyatt that was seated next to me, "And who are you?" She asked in her feminine tone. Wyatt who had been eating pizza almost quietly choked as all the attention was suddenly on him. Clearing his throat, "I'm Wyatt. Finns right hand."

"Were best friends." I included. Sadie nodded her head. "Wyatt give me your phone." Sadie abruptly said. We all looked at her like she was crazy. Was she hitting on Wyatt? In front of all of us- in front of me?

"W-why?" Wyatt stuttered out looking at me after.
Sighing out loud Sadie reached her hand out, "So I can get your number." She let out bluntly. I could see Wyatts face turn a lil pink not knowing what to do. Getting mad that she was actually hitting on him in front of me I was about to say something before she included moments later, "And while I'm at it if of course you have Jack's and Maddies numbers I'll take that too if that's alright with you guys." She asked looking at Jack and Maddie. They both nodded their heads immediately. Me and Wyatt sighed in relief and he took out his phone and gave it to her.
"Alright Jaeden give the cash to jack or maddie." I raised my eyebrows at what she told them to do.
"Wha-
Jaeden handed the cash to Jack, and Sadie concentrated on Wyatts phone and tapping on hers, she continued, "Jack I need you to look at the cash. Do you find anything wrong with it?" Jack shuffled through the dollars and peered at them. "No. Um they look Fine."
"Sink- what are you getting at here?" I asked. She ignored me and continued to talk to Jack, "Do you know how to check if cash is fake or real?"
"Well....no....but if I'm catching on to what your saying we have a guy that deals with fake and real cash. I'll give it to him to check." Jack said and left the room with the cash.
Sadie handed back the phone.
"Sink?"
"Wolfhard I'm going to give that fake cash to Lucas hes gonna buy some drugs from them and while hes at it he'll ask or say he wants in. And from there we'll see where this goes."
"What happens if they dont recruit Lucas?" Wyatt asked. Sadie only smirked and unexpectedly pulled out a bag and threw it on the table. Curios I opened the bag and i stayed quite.

"Were gonna raid those son of a bitches' warehouse and make them regret fucking with us."
