AUTHOR POV;
After being tortured for hours the two boys rested in their cells. Immeaditely after both of the boys being thrown in the cages they both rushed to the bars that separated them and clutched onto each other between the bars. It was the only closure they had. In the past weeks, Noah had attempted suicide when he tried slitting his wrists with sharp rocks in his cell. Unfortunately Asher wasnt able to stop him so he had to beg for help, and the enemy treated his wounds to keep him alive. Asher had thought about it too, but in the end had no guts to harm himself. And that made him feel even more pathetic.
Both bloodied and tired, Asher rested against the bars and Noah stroked his hair. The two basically almost became numb to crying and feeling after pain. They were quite for a while but began talking about Noah's secret. At first Asher was shocked to have been revealed Noah's true intentions when he joined the Blood Pack. And quickly understood why he betrayed Sadie.
A few weeks earlier~
"Please dont hate me for what I'm about to tell you." Noah pleaded. Asher got up to look at him. A confused expression plastered on his face. "Noah...what are you talking about?" Asher nervously chuckled. Noah gave him a serious face, "The real reason I betrayed you, Sadie, all of the blood Pack." "Noah what are you saying?" Noah took a deep breath before continuing, "I was a secret under cover person working for the cops." Ashers eyes widened and starred at Noah before bursting out laughing which only resulted in coughing. "N-Noah! Jeez dont play around like that! I almost died." He continued laughing and coughing. Noah pouted angrily, "Asher I'm being serious. I'm not joking."
He remained silent starring at Noah, trying to see if he was lying or not. "W-what do you mean?" He finally said. "I joined the blood Pack to get..info for the cops b-but the reason I left was to protect sadie." "What? How?" "Well I wanted to quit because i.. well I grew attached to Sadie. She became my best friend." He let out quietly with a small smile. "Anyways i offered the cops to switch games since i refused to give out information about the gang. So we struck a deal, I would investigate a different gang with full updates in exchange for Sadie's name to be cleared."
"Wowowo wait. So you were like an undercover cop??" Asher asked in amazement but also warily. "Yeah...I'm actually 22 years old." He truthfully let out. "4 years older than us..." "Yeah..I was probably chosen because I look pretty young like a teen." "You sure fooled us." Asher said half jokingly, part of it to hurt Noah. Noah face turned a little said at the comment but continued anyway, "Anyway I was transferred to Finns gang, the Soul Vultures. But somehow Finn knew i was undercover before I even joined the gang. And struck a deal with me. He wouldnt kill me and continue to let me be in his gang so I could keep my deal with the cops, and he would give me fake information about his gang in exchange for info on the cops. Including and swearing to not take any serious attack on Sadie's Gang." Asher sat there not knowing what to say. Moments pasted by as he was processing the information. "So all that....was to protect Sadie?" He finally let out. Noah nodded his head. "You're one hell of an actor Noah Schanpp. What are you doing with all this gang bullshit." Asher quietly joked. Noah slightly grinned at the joke. Finally saying.."Please dont hate me."
Back to Present Time ~
"I think they were recording us.." Asher let out quietly. "What do you mean?" Noah asked still stroking the boys messy hair and detangling it while he was at it. "This time we weren't in a room laying down on a bed. We were taken to a different route than usual. Plus I heard echoes in the room and I almost tripped on a cord leaving the room." Noah stopped, "You noticed all that while we were blindfolded?" Asher shook his head, "I think they were sending a message, to the Vultures and Blood Pack...to Sadie." Noah stayed quite for a bit, "Does this mean....we have hope?"
Asher looked up at Noah and gave him a genuine smile while shaking his head yes. "I know Sadie will never leave us behind. She might be cold but shes not that cold." A single tear fell down his cheek, and a weak smile appeared on his face. Hope. Something Noah never believed would happen. His emotions were all over the place. Even if Sadie did look for them, would she just take Asher? And abandon him for what he did? But the thought of being freed was so overwhelming. He knew Finn probably wouldnt go looking for him but he hoped Sadie would have the heart to.
Suddenly the door burst open, a women stepped through with a tray. "What are you two little shits smiling for?" She said rudely. The boys remained quite. "Tch. Whatever. Its dinner boys." She said and threw the food threw the bars and onto the floor. Noah quickly grabbed the food on the floor. "Desperate little rats and cockroaches" she let out laughing and walked away,shutting the door behind her. Noah rushed to Asher and gave him half the scraps he collected on the floor. "This is more than usual." Asher said grinning. Noah smiled and held out the piece of bread in the air.
"To hope and Freedom."

Hey guys sorry for the late update. Some people have been asking me if Asher and Noah would turn out to be a gay couple and to be honest I really dont know.
