Jay looked over at Miguel. "Obviously we need to change the loops but how do we do it?" Miguel looked up. "I dont know. I have some groceries that i need to get tho so I'll be back in a bit." "Ok." Jay replied then went back to scheming how he would escape this nightmare. More and more possible thoughts and ideas sprinkled there way into his head. Lost in his own thoughts it didn't come to his attention but Miguel wasnt there. Miguel was alone. Brodie was on the loose. Jay began to get trapped in his thoughts. Why am i doing this? Isn't this futile? Whats the point? Whats next? If we break this what happens then? Do we live our lives as before? We cant possibly just forget all this ever happened. Thats simply unfathomable. "By the way Mig- Miguel?" Jay looked scanned the room unable to see his brother. Then it hit him. "I dont know. I have some groceries that i need to get tho so Ill be back in a bit." I obliged. I cant believe that i let this oppurtunity slip through my hands. I cant believe I would do this. Jay pulled his phone out of the drawer and called Miguel. "Hey dude where are you at?" Jays voice was trembling. Miguel ended the call. Jay then heard a knock at the door. He opened up. "Hey man sorry i was at the grocery store." Jay just looked at Miguel. "You saw him didnt you." Miguel looked saddened immediately. "I.. I didnt mean to-"
Jay cut him off. "It's ok. Besides we have another loop. I wish i had caught myself when i said ok." "Yeah.. I don't really know why i let myself do it." Miguel and Jay stayed up talking until Jay fell asleep. Brodie knocked on the door quietly as he could to let Miguel run to his house. Jay woke up the next morning. "Miguel dude im s- Oh, thats right." Hes at his house. Isnt he. Jay ran to his house. Jay was only a few minutes late from Miguel committing his final breaths. Jay saw and read through the letter. Its the same. Jay sighed. His phone gave him the notification of 5% battery and his phone died. He went to his room. Picked up his mp3 player and made his way to pay his respects the next day at the funeral. Brodie came to Jays house and told Miguel's backstory again. Explaining to Jay that they were stuck in simultaneously exisiting loops. Jay went to sleep realizing more then ever. Everything. Happens. For. A reason.
