The Last Sane: The Reboot

A false truth

Jay walked over to school.
"Hey man."
"Oh hey Miguel."
"Whats up."
"The sky."
Jay started laughing. In a previous loop Miguel made the same joke.
"Cool."
He seems off... I dont know why but he does.
"Well that happened."
"Yes it did didn't it."
"Wanna hang out?"
"Nah not this weekend i have plans."
Jay was shocked in 578 loops Miguel always agreed to hang out over the weekend. "Oh.. Alright, what are your plans."
Miguel shook his head. "Just umm.. Just gonna visit an old friend thats all sorry brother." Jay shook his head "Oh ok... Well have fun." Miguel nodded. What is going on. Miguel is... Different. I don't know why and thats scary, in fact not knowing why he's being different could be more problematic then him being different in the first place. "Jay."
"Huh?" Jay turned around to see a person in a hoodie. Jay made quick and awkward conversation. "Have we met?" The person shook their head. They seemed to be around Jay's age. Judging from the voice used to call his name in the first place Jay through deductive reasoning agreed to himself that this person was indeed a male. "Please just call me Tim." Jay was confused. "Uh... Okay Tim, who are you?" "Oh, you must be dastardly confused my sincerest of apologies. I'm Tim and I'm what is known as a Besko. I assume you have no knowledge as to what that entails?" Jay shook his head. "Not in the slightest." Tim spoke in to put it extravagantly, he spoke magestically. "Well you see Jay, a Besko has the ability to change a loop, sometimes, Brodie is highly against us, basically we are beings with extraordinary power. In fact it wasn't necessarily Brodies fault for the loops. In fact part of it was us." Jay stood amazed at what he just heard. "What do you mean?" Tim spoke magestically once more, "My full name is Timothy Chadway, your friend Miguel tried to shoot me when he accidentally shot Briana. Brodies sister. In fact originally that didnt happen. We reset the loops over and over until he missed me, and when he did we took it and ran with it." Jay seemed even more amazed now. "So... You guys bend time and space?" "Well nowadays going through loop after loop after loop what could be considered time and space anyways." Jay silently nodded in obvious agreement. Well i have to help my friend Miguel hes been acting differently this time i dont know why. This whole loop has been different. Tim just looked at Jay puzzled as to how he didn't understand what was going on yet. "Oh! You guys changed him! But why?" Tim spoke majestically for the last time. "Everything happens for a reason Jay." Timothy vanished instantly. Jay ran to Miguels house. Miguel wasn't there. But his letter was there. It was different though. Jay began reading.
